Sex will be better when supporting Bernie.

You won’t need any “corporate” tools, and the climax is always "Yuge."

I just keep getting the mental image of Bernie and Jane walking into my living room au naturale, and Bernie shaking his finger at me admonishing me to remember that this isn’t about him, its about all of us!

It is startling but I can still see, and agree, with his point (I’d still want him to bring Nina along as well)!

I’m thinking that with Bernie, it won’t just be Viagra and Cialis that are covered by insurance. Medicare for all will also cover female aphrodisiac medications as well as female contraceptives, not just abortions, but those too and morning after pills, all of which will make sex and love a lot easier with Bernie in the presidential bedroom.

This is good…not least because of the humor.

One more reason…not sure how to put it…that sex would be better in a better world vs. in this dysfunctional society:

generally, sex - whether lived or imagined w/the aid of movies and music - becomes more escapist in two negative ways…

…first, not just ‘another part of life and daily experience,’ but…a sought-after vision of socially missing life-satisfaction…an opioid that is an alternative to life and, ‘tragically,’ forever separated from the miseries of life…

…and, second - though not distinct from the first - that opioid…that brief substitute for greater life-satisfaction…includes sicker imaginary satisfactions of what it means to succeed in the present social order.

So on the one hand, sex becomes the imaginary site of a different, better world; and, on the other hand, it becomes the site of imaginary conquest in the present social order.

Either way, sex becomes not just the satisfaction of a physical and emotional need, but compensatory.

Probably the same escapism and two aspects exist re the cultural imagination of violence.

hmmm, that isn’t the way sex works for me, but then I’ve been happily married for about a half a century, and “conquest” has never been any part of my understanding or relationship regarding sex. But if that’s what it takes to flip your skirt up, more power to you and those you consensually engage with!

Is anyone here in the comments on Medicaid? Is your sex better since getting Medicaid? Was it better before? Or is it basically the same? These claims seem quite outlandish and purely subjective.

I’m on Medicare. Yes, my whole life improved once I turned 65. I’m less tense because I no longer worry about whether or not I can get the health care I need. Being less tense and more relaxed is terrific for my sex life.

Sorry, ladies. Sex is not better in Venezuela and it wouldn’t be better under Bernie. Destroying/bankrupting our economy is no way to a successful bedroom experience.

Maybe we should get rid of the agency plants here as well.

There seems a chance that some of this is humorous, Lisa.

On the other hand, sex has usually been better when life is going well. And if it turns out that it is not, doing well is still probably worth a try.

I’m sure life is better when you don’t have to work for a living and instead have a bunch of victims of theft (why not call them what they would’ve been called 170 years ago…{the democratic party’s} slaves) providing you with your living :woman_shrugging:t5:

While it is far from perfect, it is a hell of a lot better than anything our neighbours in Bernieland - or point south, have to deal with. Fuck off, bitch.

Yes, it would be wonderful. I’m also imagining what it will be like when we have the Jayapala/Sanders National Improved Medicare for All - no-premium- no co-pay, no-deductible and hearing, vision, dental are all included. Most economical and efficient pay plan ever. I’m imagining even greater sexs.
