25 Democrats Join GOP to Advance Anti-Boycott Bill Bernie Sanders Warns Violates "Americans' First Amendment Rights"

Jake Johnson, staff writer

In the Senate's first vote since the government shutdown ended last week, 25 Democrats teamed up with the Republican majority Monday night to advance anti-boycott legislation that Palestinian rights groups and civil libertarians have denounced as a brazen attack on the First Amendment rights of those protesting

hahaha. More than half the party slides over to the “screw your speech rights” aisle.

Yeah. Democrats. Saviors of civilization. Keep telling yourself that.

And congratulations to the neoliberals Booker and Harris showing some quality leadership here by not voting. Way to get out in front of the troops!

I admit a couple of surprises on the “no” side, with Gillibrand and Feinstein.

As we have seen before, the criminal mind at work. Follow the money. How much we give that “state” and how much is given to those that vote against basic human rights. Sorry in advance to those of faith but it’s just another sky-gawd religion gone wacko. What would Jesus do?

Ah, the split personality of Oregon’s two Senators, Merkley and Wyden, with a No and Yes vote. Michigan, too.

Maybe it’s time to jail any politician abusing their power to deny any Americans rights.

And there you have it folks! The treason done by the DINO pro-Israel at-any-cost politicians that put the interests and agenda of a foreign power above our own nation to their everlasting infamy! The overt subversion by Israel and their tools to our nation has been shown to be pervasive and at odds with what America is supposed to stand-for and what our great documents speak of!

The right of the citizens to express opinion and free speech, and political expression is one of the bedrocks of a free society that has been betrayed to serve the terrorist racist entity known as Israel! There is no doubt this vote is a result of the subversion and power of the pro-israeli lobby and the contempt for our liberty by those that voted for this travesty and criminal betrayal! NONE of those voting in favor of this betrayal can ever be trusted again regardless their other actions!

The anti-Apartheid movement in South Africa was helped by the BDS movement in that racist state, but now our citizens and morality are deprived of the same right to free expression with the current BDS Movement against Israeli Apartheid, made “illegal” by the contempt for American law and International Human Rights Law!

The decades-long pre-meditated political subversion by the Israeli zionist entity has taken control of our politics, politicians and elections, cloaked by a “religious” mask that intentionally confuses religion with ordinary state secular subversion and manipulation! The trump regime is the culmination of that subversion and treason supported by complicit DINO democrats that hold first loyalty to that foreign racist power! Treason by any name! Both parties politicians complicit to, and supporters of, the subversion of our republic!

The Democratic senators who joined Republicans who voted for this bill show clearly what it meant to them to take an oath to defend the Constitution–i.e., exactly nothing. So flagrant an offense–how can it pass? Members of either parties, along with the “independent,” who voted for this bill should be hounded out of office.

From George Washington’s Farewell Address that speaks to the subversion of our nation by our own politicians eager to serve a foreign power - it might have been written with today’s Israel in mind!
https://www.mtholyoke.edu/acad/intrel/gwfare.htm

" Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence (I conjure you to believe me, fellow-citizens,) the jealousy of a free people ought to be constantly awake; since history and experience prove, that foreign influence Is one of the most baneful foes of Republican Government "

" So likewise, a passionate attachment of one Nation for another produces a variety of evils. Sympathy for the favorite Nation, facilitating the illusion of an imaginary common interest, in cases where no real common interest exists, and infusing into one the enmities of the other, betrays the former into a participation in the quarrels and wars of the latter, without adequate inducement or justification. It leads also to concessions to the favorite Nation of privileges denied to others, which is apt doubly to injure the Nation making the concessions; by unnecessarily parting with what ought to have been retained; and by exciting jealousy, ill-will, and a disposition to retaliate,in the parties from whom equal privileges are withheld. And it gives to ambitious, corrupted, or deluded citizens, (who devote themselves to the favorite nation,) facility to betray or sacrifice the interests of their own country, without odium, sometimes even with popularity; gilding, with the appearances of a virtuous sense of obligation, a commendable deference for public opinion, or a laudable zeal for public good, the base or foolish compliances of ambition, corruption, or infatuation " - President/General George Washington

I lived in Oregon until recently and always thought Wyden should be voted out - he’s a big recipient of Pharma money and is for a frickin’ flat tax. He’s gotten a pass for being anti-war, but as I’ve told many an Oregon voter, he’ll vote for everything that leads up to war and then grandstand against it.

Feinstein is a real head-scratcher, agreed.

The fact that ALL the presumed 2020 presidential contenders accepted cover by voting against (Gillibrand, Sanders, Warren) or abstaining (Booker, Harris) sheds a bit of light on this bill’s quality.

The “party” is fine with it. But no candidate is willing to defend it during the primary.

Don’t overlook the 38 billion in military aid to Israel, either. Why in hell are Americans budgeting 38 BILLION dollars in military aid for an apartheid regime? Progressives should not limit opposition on this atrocious legislation to only the BDS issue.

That’s 38 billion on top of what Obama gave the terrorist state of Israel. Israel supported ISIS in Syria and Iraq

Don’t worry. Soon there will be no Middle East. Millions of refugees, yes, but no habitable place in the middle of the planet.
