The ballots have been cast and the verdict is in: By a vote of 50-48, the Senate on Saturday confirmed Brett Kavanaugh as the 114th justice of the United States Supreme Court.

Here are five key takeaways from the confirmation battle:

Peer reviewed science has demonstrated that for 30 or 40 years the actions of the U.S. congress aligns with the wishes of the American people exactly 0.0% of the time. Whores sell their own bodies for money. U.S. congressmen (and women) sell ours, their constituents’, along with our national resources for their lords’ personal profit. This branch of government in no way WHATSOEVER represents the American people.

The current executive administration is wall-to-wall, top to bottom nothing but a total criminal enterprise, and in complete power even though 13 million more citizens voted AGAINST the current occupant than for him. Over the same 30 - 40 years the executive branch has bequested to itself powers which the constitution never meant for that branch to possess.

Both of these branches of government have forfeited any and all legitimacy. The Supreme Court is barely better, and now is in danger of becoming as irrelevant as congress. I guess the question is ‘should we resist this trend, or facilitate it and push a pillow over the face of this last vestige of false democracy’? The SCOTUS proclaimed “Brown” by the mid 50’s. The South thumbed their collective noses and segregation continued unabated for another generation. Today, schools in the south are as segregated as ever. The court ruled that Andrew Jackson’s forced removal of indigenous Americans was unconstitutional. He openly mocked them as impotent and the genocide proceeded. I suggest an open defiance and a boycott of the ‘highest court in the land’ could lead to its functional demise - much as the recent actions of congress have validated and legitimized sexual assault and perjury, without regard for what written ‘law’ might proclaim.

Frankly, I can envisage NO scenario whatsoever that re-establishes legitimacy of the old two-party system in the minds of the American people. No matter who ‘wins’ in 2018, or 2020 or EVER. Perhaps a parliamentary system would give some impression that they are being represented by SOMEONE, even if only by a minority party in congress. Absent that, or some serious impact by radical/rational thinkers like ‘The Next System Project’, we appear to be on track for either total authoritarian rule or civil war. We are being warned of total environmental collapse within a few decades - a single generation. In all probability, our empire’s political collapse will, by then, be complete.

Impeachment? That’s a joke and it would never happen. The Dems and GOP are not much different. Everyone looks for own future benefit. Most of them care least about the common people. The political corruption influenced by the large corporation is very much limitless. It won’t be easy to cross that corrupt mountain.

The divide isn’t as great as you may believe.

Once the decision is made to reject the establishment, and the people revolt and demand change and resignations, the Energizer Bunny won’t stop until the batteries die.
