How does Indian Country survive the Donald Trump era? The new administration is only a few days old, and already the chaos of the times has upset business as usual—and possibly the very structure of federal Indian law.
Sounds like a good recipe for the entire country!
I especially like the call to alliance with progressive cities and states, and documenting what is and isn't done or doable. But particularly with the cry of "First Americans First," remember that djt starts from a grudge against Indian-run casinos, which he blames for the failure of Atlantic City's eastern monopoly on casino gambling. I certainly don't argue for the casino solution for Native poverty, but I'm sure it figures in djt's policy making, even if it's the one thing he knows better than to tweet about.
