'A Historic Chance to Take a Stand': Anti-War Groups Urge Senate to End US Complicity in Yemen

Julia Conley, staff writer

As the Senate headed toward a crucial vote to end U.S. support for the Saudi-led war in Yemen Wednesday, peace action groups called on Americans to keep up pressure on their representatives, demanding they vote to approve the War Powers Resolution and end the nation's complicity in the slaughter.

Bravo Bernie! All America’s undeclared wars! From the Korean war to the Yemen and Afghanistan wars have been unconstitutional and treasonous to the Constitution, but almost never mentioned. This Congressional treason, is why I say America is, and has been, a military dictatorship.

Fix this Country first… then talk about Yemen.

Don’t be ridiculous. We don’t have to Fix our country or Yemen to pull out of a murderous war. Our actions now are NOT helping anyone. The US won’t be Fixed any time soon. Should we continue our relentless bombings in the ME until we get our act together? That’s absurd.

First thing Bernie should do when he wins in 2020 is declare an end to the war on terrorism. It should continue as a police action nationally and internationally.

Dick Cheney’s pet toy poodle and renowned buffoon, George W Bush, declared that ‘they hate us for our freedom.’

Um, that has a little truth buried in it.

What has more truth is this: They hate us because we destabilize, steal, and kill.
