KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Kansans trying to register to vote at their state Department of Motor Vehicles offices are illegally being forced to provide additional documentation of citizenship, according to a new lawsuit brought by the American Civil Liberties Union. As a result, more than 30,000 potential voters have been blocked from voting because of this bureaucratic hurdle.
ACLU Files Lawsuit on Behalf of Thousands of Kansans Blocked From Voting Over Illegal Documentation Requirement
"Bureaucratic maze"? I don't think so. This is a deliberate disenfranchisement action on the part of Kansas State Government officials. I cannot believe that Kansans would vote in such disgraceful, regressive state legislators. Where were their brains?
Of course its not an accident. There are many people in this country particularly the right who put ideology before the citizens of this nation. disenfranchise thousands of people because of bureaucratic nonsense, doesn't matter because you kept the one illegal immigrant thousands of miles from the border from voting in the kansas election. Of course most of these people are probably democrats which is why in light of shifting demographics this nonsense happens.
