I hate to admit it, but maybe all those “pizzagate” rumors that used to make fox viewers apoplectic may have at least a shred of truth.
However, there are a few other issues here that should absolutely frighten most Americans. There seems to be a pretty intricate system of child sexual exploitation going on, in the USA and other nations. It seems to involve many people, but especially those in America’s leadership class. But perhaps the most disturbing aspect of this entire sordid affair is the matter-of-fact attitude it has been met with by the general public. When we found out that young girls were being captured and kept as sex slaves Americans let out a collective yawn. Have we become so bourgeois that we see this behavior as normal? Or is it our metamorphosis into a libertarian society, one that says everyone is free to do what they want, including the rape of children, without consequence? Or is it the fact that most of us feel utterly powerless to stop the this debauchery?
I feel that, as usual, the truth lies somewhere in between. Either way, it doesn’t make us look good. This is the sort of behavior we have seen in all previous empires at the beginning of their collapse. It appears that once again we refuse to learn from our history.

Everyone in Trump world has to go of course. Including Acosta. But I cannot help feeling they are going after the easy marks instead of going full bore to the big pig - Trump. If anyone thinks he (and Willie J Clinton) weren’t raping little girls right along with their bestie Jeffy I have a frickin bridge to sell you… apparently Trump is right - there is nothing he cannot blatantly do that will get him removed from office. We should all apparently apologize to Nixon for turfing him out over that whole little break in thing…

I have noticed people seem catatonic, unable to move on the most outrageous issues such as child abuse. But have faith we are at a paradigm shift and the momentum needed to move people into action is awakening peoples’ outrage. We are no longer willing to just curl up into the fetal position and rock back and forth. I for one want to hear more from Nick Bryant and his story of powerbrokers, child abuse and betrayal. This is not a case of faults memories. The stories are outrageous and unbelievable and sick. Some of us will curl up into the fetal position and other will react and act. We have the power to heal the systemic problems of child abuse and to heal the child within us.

Acosta has been resisting Mick Mulvaney’s attempts to gut the labor regulations protecting American workers. I wonder if all this pressure is intended to get him to be more fascist or to get him out,of the way so someone else more fascist can do Mulvaney’s bidding.
I always wondered if the impeachment of,Bill Clinton was not as much as the GOP getting their revenge for Nixon as it was pressuring Clinton to deregulate Glass Stegal and the banking industry.

I’d like to,believe we are at a progressive paradigm shift but all indications are to,the contrary. The SCOTUS just ruled that gerrymandering was OK so the 2020 election is pretty much already rigged. The corporate MSM has all but ignored that ruling in favor of covering the “citizenship question”.
Absolutely NOTHING has been done to protect the next election from the kind of,high tech manipulation evident in 2016. Surveillance capitalism is in charge of everything now. Things are grim.

I read “The Franklin Scandal” and “Confessions of a D.C. Madam”, real life horror stories that involve both parties. Moon of Alabama has quite a bit of information and the comments section way more with lots of links. I don’t think this is going away.

Yes, there was a mass coverup of these abuses occurring at the highest of levels in both the United Kingdom and in Belgium.

These people are after all devoid of conscience. That is what helped them to get rich and as far as a good many of the “lessor people” are concerned , all is forgiven if you got rich doing it.

The rumours surrounding Bill Clinton have been circulating for years yet people would still line up to pay a few hundred thousand to hear him speak. These same people paying those hundreds of thousands to hear Bill Clinton speak would call for the castration of a child predator if that predator was some guy living on the streets.

Acosta is just a flunky. Demanding his resignation is like taking out a drop of water from the ocean.

This wide spread. Liberals and conservatives are involved.

Anybody up for PIZZA?

I have a sister who is married to a big shot in Dow Chemical. She watches Fox News all day and is an avid trump supporter, as is her husband. They are active in their church and attend services every week. We used to get along very well, talking on the phone sometimes for hours. Now she has been brainwashed by the MSM and we have become estranged. She was an English teacher with mostly minority students and I would like to ask her how she feels about the mistreatment of these poor children and how would Jesus feel about trump’s policies, but I can’t. It’s like she has become a total stranger. Congrats to the republicans and trump who have succeeded in dividing my family.

This whole affair has similarities to the “Boys Town” incident of the 1980’s. It’s not exactly the same, but the theme remains the same. Both exposing the compliancy of the public, and the willingness of the ruling class to protect each other over the wellbeing of children. If you’re not familiar with the “Boys Town” incident, google it, one of the kids in that one, went to jail for 15 years for telling her story (convicted of perjury), while the ringleader and gop fundraiser did 10 years for a unrelated charge. When he was released, he was welcomed back to the gop party with open arms.

Before Acosta leaves Washington he needs to make one stop - at the capital - and pick up Nancy Pelosi. They can leave town together and find some other ways to serve the rich and powerful than at our expense.

That is why poor people are often the sacrificial lambs for all of the crimes of the rich and powerful.

Yes, I thought Trump, at the time, exaggerated when he infamously said: " I could shoot someone in cold blood on 5th Avenue and my base would still support me". Now I see that egregious, statement was not hyperbole at all!

There are two set of books and two sets of laws. One for rich and powerful and one for the rest of us. Most americans go along with that system and support it. Why? We have been educated and manipulated to do so.

Where is the outrage from the evangelical, Bible Trumpers? Trump is a proven pathological liar; hangs out with porn stars; commits adultery; has surrounded his administration with a cabal of corrupt appointees; people like Paul Manafort are in jail; and NOW SEX TRAFFICING by one of his “good friends” in other words, has broken all ten commandments but not a peep! From the evangelical, hypocrites like Franklin Graham and too many others to list here.

Per DemocracyNow! this morning, Acosta is also seeking an 80% budget cut to the Bureau of International Labor Affairs, which is that part of the Dept. of Labor that battles human trafficking, sex trafficking, child labor, etc. Acosta argues it’s no biggie cuz Congress will just put the money back in the budget, which is about as weaselly (apologies to weasels) as saying he offered the plea deal to Epstein to protect the victims. Acosta’s self-defense amounts to nothing more than “don’t hate the player; hate the game.”

The mainstream media played a huge role in these cover ups as well. Reporter Vicky Ward indicated she wrote an article around 10 years ago on Epsteins abuses and she had the names of several that came forward to report them. Her editor at Vanity Fair edited the articles because she felt Epstein might be offended.

Meanwhile Jim Acosta is hard at work trying to cut 80 percent of the budget allocated to combat sex trafficking.

Pink Floyd refers to it as “Comfortably Numb.” And that’s where most Americans seem to be.
Either that or working two jobs, picking up the kids, making dinner, and falling asleep on the way to bed. Why would these Americans want to use what little free time they may have, making political judgements?

The following article I read yesterday reported that Acosta said he offered the plea deal because someone above him told him that Epstein was working for one of the intelligence agencies; and, Acosta should drop his investigation; because, it was above his pay grade. Seems that no one has reported whether they then asked Epstein who told him to drop the investigation.

Bombshell: Alex Acosta Reportedly Claimed Jeffrey Epstein “Belonged To Intelligence” – Jul 10, 2019 - Mike Krieger - theburningplatform via libertyblitzkrieg

“Is the Epstein case going to cause a problem [for confirmation hearings]?” Acosta had been asked. Acosta had explained, breezily, apparently, that back in the day he’d had just one meeting on the Epstein case. He’d cut the non-prosecution deal with one of Epstein’s attorneys because he had “been told” to back off, that Epstein was above his pay grade. “I was told Epstein ‘belonged to intelligence’ and to leave it alone,” he told his interviewers in the Trump transition, who evidently thought that was a sufficient answer and went ahead and hired Acosta. (The Labor Department had no comment when asked about this.)…
