Just in case the problem wasn’t obvious before. These protesters didn’t shout at Nancy as she walked into the capital building to continue work on progressive legislation. Oh no, they confronted her as she waltzed into a big money fund raiser.
Maybe if they threw bundles of $20 bills at her they may get her attention. Say what you will about Nancy, she’s a whores whore. And an expensive one at that.

Good for Nikayla Jefferson to put this vital legislation in the stark terms necessary, " people will continue to die from the climate crisis " is not hyberole or understatement. The hurricane named Ida was just a sample of what’s in store; probably a much worse future awaits, and the smoke and fires around the planet this summer spell a coming looming catastrophe, too. The Congressional battlelines are clear and sharply drawn. Republicans and Corporate Democrats are against the 98% in financial measurements. And against vast majorities in terms of protecting the general welfare of all. Good for the Sunrise Movement and others fighting this essential battle.

The new Biden regime is not to much different from the old one!
The difference is less MSM pressure, and much more subtle maneuvers, but in
the end, all is the same!
Lots of deportations, even more than Drumph, lots of promises, none kept, many
legislative efforts… always blocked by some number of “conservative Ds”.
This is the same old tune from Obama, and Clinton. Remember “Blue Dogs”? They
talk a good “Smiley Face” story, but never quite can seem to do what they say.
Gosh Darn-it, it’s them conservative Ds in the House & Senate! Which, of course,
are set up as the foils. Never ending kabuki theater!
While we start a new cold war with China & Russia, and help the fossil fuel Co’s
drill and prosper, and NEVER help anyone who’s income is under $100k!
They’re going to play and fight over all this till the next election, and then we can
play the frownie face game again. I’m surprised that even a toddler isn’t wise to it
by now!

I don’t see how this decision doesn’t hand the keys to the castle over to the GQP next election cycle. Wont be long before the US is unrecognizable.

the truth has been outed–all the bull about why the two bills were split off from each other revealed–it was so the Democrats could fail to deliver and be able to blame it on the progressives–just like all the corporate media is saying non stop (can you say “institutional liars”)–when in fact it is the conservative corporate Democrats who are holding up progress --just like they have done for the last 50 years since they followed the Clintons into the neo-liberal nightmare we have been living with ever since

If you cannot vote in an election you should be barred from “donating” in any way, including buying advertising. It’s not “free speech,” it is corruption, pure and simple.

Be careful here… This would prevent corporations from donating… OR maybe get John Roberts to complete his mission and give corporations voting rights
3.5 T seems like an entitlement to Manchin. If UBI and the child tax credit are deemed entitlements, I see why he thinks on the cheap.
