After Israel Kills 60 People in Gaza, Dozen Senators Call for Humanitarian Assistance While Rights Groups Demand US End Miltary Aid to Israeli

Jon Queally, staff writer

Two after Israel soldiers killed an estimated 60 unarmed Palestinian demonstrators in Gaza who were protesting against occupation and the provocative decision by the Trump administration to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and 12 of his Democratic Senate colleagues on Wednesday called on Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to "do more to alleviate the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip."

After turning the Zionist apartheid entity of Israel into a military base with hundreds of billions of dollars of direct and indirect military aid while helping it to develop 200-400 nuclear warheads and tons of CBW weapons of mass destruction, it is absolute HYPOCRISY for these idiots (and I include Bernie Sanders and Liz Warren in that) to call for humanitarian aid for the Palestinians and other Mideasterners who suffer at the hands of US/UK/EURO/ISRAELI imperialism.

Have they no shame?

Let’s not forget that Israel is calorie restricting what they allow into the Gaza strip as part of their control effort:

The humanitarian crisis caused by the blockade of Gaza by Israel and Egypt certainly needs to be addressed. It is hard to believe the US government can’t get better food, water, and healthcare for the 2 million people living in this highly populated blockaded strip of land. There is a small group of people in Gaza who appear to be well off, The NY Times showed a graduation ceremony and following party at an international high school in Gaza City and it could have been in any wealthy US suburban high school from the look of it. The graduates were the children of the a small group of people in Gaza who seem who apparently are a living in style if that is possible. But for almost everyone else the situation is dire. And there is no way of getting out without being highly educated and having a job lined up abroad. The protests didn’t exactly go as those who started it on Facebook had hoped, with Hamas getting involved and Israel using far more force than they ever imagined they would but perhaps it will all lead to some additional help for the people trapped in Gaza. The letter from the senators should be acted on.
