It is interesting that the author is comparing the COVID crisis to one hundred of the 9/11 False Flag events.
Was COVID a manufactured False Flag event as well?
(The US Department of “Defense” paid for research in the Wuhan lab that has been accused of releasing the virus.)

Well, the author left off the obvious “Item 10” in his list:
We must bomb several countries in retaliation - does not matter whom, however, as long as it boosts military hardware sales. We have investors to think about. And we need Patriotism to unite the country.
USA Number One!
USA Number One!

“Was COVID a manufactured False Flag event as well?”

It’s possible, there were reported cases at the end of last year in Frederick, MD., and doctors in South FL. took chest x-rays from patients with a “strange” virus then, and now claim those x-rays match Covid patients x-rays today.

“We need a left that can meet the urgency of this crisis.”
We need a left that isn’t afraid to abandon the DNC party. We don’t even need to wait to see how the “honeymoon” turns out - we know it’s going to be a NeoLiberal administration. Only when they see voters once and for all abandoning ship will they start to act progressive. We can’t wait two years - by then there will be another “Evil” to fend off. Start now - People’s Party, Green Party, Socialist Party or a merger of all three.

At what point does a large enough mass of Americans realize, the governments in Washington and state capitols don’t give a shit about anything but propping up a failing capitalist system. People are just assets that can be discontinued or ejected as excess capacity during corporate board room meetings. “Losing all hope is freedom.” We don’t need to hold out hope of things getting better, but strangle it, then we can move on to actually enacting change; No Hope Then Change.

Obama’s “hope and change” mantra confirmed that hope plus two bucks bought a cup of coffee…change was what you put in the barista’s tip jar.

Today that cup of coffee costs three or four bucks.

Go tell Trump you want HIM back as president. That IS what you are saying with your demand that anyone to the right of Carter is a damn fool for even having the temerity to exist.

What about wrapping all those reforms into just one demand - socialism.

Or as James Connolly said:

“For our demands most moderate are, We only want the earth.”

Great motto. Like a line from a haiku on Zen (non-anti) activism. I’m reminded of a timeless, classic summation from @HensTeeth, in another thread yesterday:

“The good news is it won’t kill you. The bad news is it won’t kill you.”

Ouch! Some of the finest poetry stings like a mother. Covid plays both sides: alternately killing and making folks wish they were dead. I think there’s an urgent lack of proportionate knowledge about how many people are getting long-hauler hurts (that poor basketball player collapsing midstride – the latest horrifying example). I’ve heard 1/3 of cases, but I haven’t found the study.

Any glance at USA’s death-rate dynamics shows it rocketing to global number-one status, as with all our other Covid stats. Someone dies of Covid in USA every 35 seconds, at this writing. For God’s sake: Do everything you can to keep your family safe through this terrible passage.

You don’t need to don a tinfoil hat to see what’s in plain view: A pandemic arises and autocrats leverage its destructive power to sow chaos, because chaos is always beneficial to autocrats. It’s the same all over the world: Duterte & Bolsonaro have similarly egged on the bug (without having conspired to create it) along with UK and Sweden. Terrible governments all over are dedicated to spreading misery, because mass desperation reliably has, does, and always will make the rich richer – and they’re all that matter.

So we can save the tinfoil hats for more urgent purposes, if we like.

Thank you. I copied the line from a fellow multiple-decades victim of ME/CFS.

I know it’s nothing comparable, but the expression could also apply to existential angst. I love the way it makes a thinking reader back up and turn around. I hate to foretell I might steal it without attribution. Sometimes I’m inclined to look both ways and pocket jewels like this one.

No problem. I’ve long forgotten exactly who I heard it from. I think it one of those quips making the rounds.

Ths is truly amazing! In 1980 senators Bayh and Doe passed a aw that said that in a necessity, the drug makers would work under the government and provide free medicines from the patented ones—because sometimes the government has to take over because the corporations have no idea how to run things—they only seek profit! There has been a law for this since 1980! WHY AREN’T WE USING THAT LAW???

Make that the Bayh-Dole Act of 1980--------that is so weird that people don’t seem to look back and see what was were passed that we could use today! : 0

October was the first reports. In some areas, people were dropping like flies last December in the U.S. Woodward released tapes of them knowing at least by January.
False Flag probably. The two drs.responsible for that other false flag…
So by the rule of blackmail, see fawell jr., Lindsey Graham, the entire republican party.
