She is a good example of how irrelevant the organ between one’s legs is for politics. The only organ that is relevant is the brain, complemented by functioning auditory and voice systems. She obviously is lacking in that category.

Identity politics are too circumscribed. What really counts is how one treats other people-all of them, well with a few exceptions(the Trump family). That is something learned in kindegarten.

Every clown is going to get into the act and it will go nowhere.

Identity is something people run to when they have nothing else to offer. So, we have a trans governor who does horrible things if given power. Oh, you don’t like that privatization? Well, did I mention the person privatizing this or that is a trans governor? I am not dismissing LGBTQ rights at all, simply how the neoliberals and the right use identity. I mean, Harris is the first female VP, and she sucks. Her being female doesn’t mean she sucks less, and she is paid by the white male power structure to not change anything. Unless you can show me policies she supports and puts in place that benefits people of her identity, you can’t show me that her being VP improves their condition. In that situation, how do the neoliberal types then use identity to shield them from valid critiques of their corruption, policies and the impact they have when given power?

this isn’t even serious. or as a trans friend of mine says,

“a tranny running as a Republican? In California? That’s not even a good practical joke.”

this isn’t news. it’s self-debasement from an object of ridicule, no less cringeworthy than Tiny Tim’s campaigns.

“Hey Bruce, I mean Caitlyn, going from a party Boy to a party girl isn’t going to qualify you to serve the people of California. Joining the freak show of the Republican party isn’t going to do anything for your resume` either.”

There was a time Trump seemed like an impossibility too.
I have come to believe that there is nothing so stupid or so evil that the American public can’t be made to accept it.

GOP forces criticized his handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

That’s rich coming from the GOP enablers of the biggest mass murderer-by-covid 19, Trump, that is.

Considering celeb California gubners Raygun’s and Terminator’s regressive track records, the last thing California needs is a Jenner/Kardashian era.

This, along with the hot water heater failing just this morning, is too much for one day.

This is great!

What a wonderful example of why identity politics is stupid!

Identity is the least important “qualification” to be considered when choosing a candidate. It’s also the easiest and laziest “qualification” to use.

Switch over to an on-demand, tankless system. The price of tankless water heaters has come down so much in the last few years that you can now purchase two of them for the price of one old-fashioned tank type, and save money in the long run.

The circus isn’t for everyone, but even less of those who go there make the Freak Show their first choice.

Hi G, what did you buy as a replacement? Did you choose a tank less unit as Ernestine suggested?

Curious how you might find that option.

And on the other end of the spectrum, it’s also the easist and laziest means of “disqualification”.

I’ll check it out. My go to plumbers is out of town for the weekend.

Maybe Jenners is able to raise campaign funds. I do not know California law, but when a federal congress person, representative retires, unspent campaign funds become their personal property, tax free.

My go to plumber is me. Oddly enough, poverty has a way of sharpening one’s life skills.

Why are people talking about plumbing? Is it because Bruce is a stereotypical plumber’s name? Or is it because Bruce happens to like plumbers? Or Caitlin. I’m not sure if that’s the right spelling. Well, I hope she finds fulfillment.
