America's Wealthiest Family Owns Walmart. They Can Afford to Pay Workers $15 an Hour.

Bernie Sanders, Ro Khanna

The major economic crisis facing this country is that at a time of massive income and wealth inequality, tens of millions of Americans are working for wages that are so low that they are barely surviving. All over this country, people are forced to work two or three jobs to support their families as the cost of healthcare,

Let’s see- isn’t the MSM reporting that the economy is doing “great” and that umployment is the lowest in 49 years? What a load of crap!

Arkansas is called " The Natural State ". If the natural state of things there is abject poverty, it is aptly named.
The only Congress people who should vote against this legislation are Arkansans’ 2 Senators and 4 House members. Oh wait, you said the Walton family has $167 Billion in accumulated wealth to pass around The Swamp? Never mind; American workers are the toughest and best workers in the world. They don’t food, shelter and healthcare. They really only some boots, with sturdy straps and made in Vietnam. And the ability to pull themselves and their loved ones, up every morning out of their broken down1972 Winnebago, to get to work or church.
" Is this a great country, or what? "

The thing I absolutely love about Bernie is his ability to say what he wants to say directly. I listen to his passion and try to grow.

Conservatives, including the right-wing Walton family are against such freebies as food stamps. When the Walton family whined about a drop in Walmart profits they could not see the connection between the slashing of food stamps and the drop in their corporation’s profitability. It is like that they see the 99% of the American people as a source of unlimited wealth and cannot see that their own greed will eventually come back to bite them in the ass.
