Let it be said, “Boslonaro, Trump Loyalista”

Certain U.S. states are consistently accelerating into the pandemic. #1 is Arizona. After that, just about the whole Deep South is accelerating, with the exceptions of Kentucky and Virginia. The whole Northeast is reducing its pandemic fairly steadily.

These states are apparently going to do a Brazil. Yes, that’s trouble. That’s where the acceleration road leads.

I’ve been updating state statistics daily since March 22 at *ttp://quakerworks .net/statecoronavirusstatistics.htm

I will not be surprised when some person of grit who has suffered great loss will snuff that POS! I am only surprised it has taken so long for the people of Brazil to remove the malignant
cancer and astonishing arrogant stupidity!

End game of The Doctrine of Discovery. Once the guardians of the forest are dead, the capitalist vultures will swoop in and reap all the “resources” to make the rich even richer. Say goodbye to the rainforest, to the jaguars, to the anacondas, to the entire biosphere of Amazonia.
Then there’s Africa…and Laos and Cambodia…this thing hasn’t even begun to do its job on homo sap, and we’re foolish to think so.
Remember the words of Camus in The Plague-As he listened to the cries of joy rising from the town, Rieux remembered that such joy was always imperiled…that the plague bacillus never dies or disappears for good, that in can lie dormant for years and years…and that perhaps the day would come when, for the bane and enlightenment of men, it would rouse up its rats again and send them forth to die in a happy city…

Check the FL stats today. They registered the largest increase yet in one day, cases up 1600! But gotta keep those beaches hopping, amirite? Seems they are hiding actual totals, so hard to know how bad it is and will continue to get down there.

There is hope. Friends of mine have opened an elephant sanctuary, in Motto Grosso. They have 2k acres of the loveliest forest/streams you have ever seen. Circus and zoos are releasing their megafauna, and they are specialists who now have 4 female Asians and plans for many more (including males of both species) as paperwork gets stalled and pushed though. Pretty cool. There are good things happening there, a real treat to watch these elephants learn to BE relatively free again. A real celebration when a caravan arrives with a new resident! ok done with my spiel, always looking for ways to support them. (Global Sanctuary for Elephants)

Florida is in contention for fasting growing outbreak. Nine states had daily new-cases spikes in the past few days: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Texas. South Carolina and Utah also show very steep upward trajectories.

It’ll be interesting to see His Pestilency’s response to questions about the ones who, literally, die to see him in Tulsa. Then off to the next bug-bomb Nuremburg rally, wherever the “white” folks are too stupid to live (as evidenced by their marked distaste for any resistance to death, such as a facemask).

No wonder they call Bolsonaro the Trump of the Tropics.

The #1 herb used to treat Covid-19 in China today - HuZhang grows wild in Brazil and its almost impossible to eradicate. (Japanese knotweed)

Its a treatment. Its not a sham.

It helps people stay alive.

Indeed, Brazilians should look into this:

“Resveratrol has a number of beneficial effects on corona virus infection beyond ACE-2 support; it inhibits the growth of the deadly MERS corona virus by multiple mechanisms. In addition, resveratrol diminishes the kind of inflammation associated with corona virus infection.”

Knotweed has the highest concentration of resveratrol.

“Brazil’s situation is so worrying and so unique because if you look at the path the epidemic took—from China, through Asia, and then Europe and on to the U.S., Brazil was its first encounter with a country suffering from the kind of severe social inequality ours does.”

Several countries have demonstrated how to handle a pandemic with public-health competence. The public-health incompetence demonstrated in the extreme by Brazil, USA, UK, and Sweden has to be taken as intentional: When a country knows how to save thousands of lives and it’s just too inconvenient, genocidal intent almost certainly underlies such feigned incompetence.

In order to qualify as genocidal internally, the people dying most quickly would be the socially despised. This is the case in Brazil and USA, where the ethnic demographics of those killed by COVID-19, and the ethnic demographics of those killed by police, are indistinguishable.

In order to qualify as genocidal externally, the vicious less-powerful state would have imposed on it a genocidal government – thanks to the usual machinations of Empire. This is the case with USA upon Brazil, where the metastatic relationship of fascism spreading out from the rotten core couldn’t be clearer. What’s going on in Brazil is imperialistic genocide by pandemic proxy.

Tests per-capita is blind to dangerous procrastination, so I use tests per-case (i.e. viral tests, not antibody tests) – to display much more pertinent interstate comparisons. By this measure, USA is slightly behind Brazil in testing.

For accuracy, my heading over the table should say: China (with 84,385 cases) is excluded – because they fail to disclose testing data. If the table were ranked by tests per-case instead of caseload, the countries ranked highest (e.g. South Korea: 91.22) would be the most public-health competent.

I don’t think kids these days understand the problem we are up against. We have two political parties which essentially work to achieve the same agenda. We have people like Trump and Boslonaro who are horribly rotten, but weirdly, each asshole leads separate nations. We have a corporate media which lies. We go online and get bombarded by bots, trolls and all manner of misinformation and dogma. Knowledge is power but all the sources we have for information are poisoned wells. We have a nation of followers, following whatever authority or group and never thinking for themselves. We have had our world view broken into political parties and we have forgotten Democrats and Republicans are recent inventions. There is no way to easily explain anything. I will just share what my GenX self grew up with. I can’t share a life time of experience here. I’ll just share this:

How lovely for the elephants.

And did you see Beijing is in lockdown again as new cases from open markets have been documented.

A little bit of virus is a very big deal in public-health competent countries like China. The agitprop machine will stumble all over itself inflating temporary precautions into signs of incipient threats to freedom, and meanwhile China will just proceed to snuff out that bug. Like they (both China and the agitprop machine) did before. It should be edifying, albeit much too predictable.

At this writing, China’s per-capita death-toll from COVID-19 is less than one hundredth of USA’s.
