Any Half-Decent Hacker Could Break Into Mar-a-Lago

Julia Angwin, Surya Mattu

Two weeks ago, on a sparkling spring morning, we went trawling along Florida’s coastal waterway. But not for fish.

We parked a 17-foot motor boat in a lagoon about 800 feet from the back lawn of The Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach and pointed a 2-foot wireless antenna that resembled a potato gun toward the club. Within a minute, we spotted three weakly encrypted Wi-Fi networks. We could have hacked them in less than five minutes, but we refrained.

Trying to get this straight: with hackers creeping around exposing and stealing stuff everywhere, The DNC online security sucked, our former Secretary of State used servers installed in her basement, her top aide shared SoS business with her sex-crazed (now ex) husband, and our current loose cannon of a President can't be bothered to properly protect his own emails or those of the guests at "classy" Mal de Loco?

I'd love to put some faith in our leaders, but they're given me nothing.

Encrypting all the DJT Florida WH data and ensuring maximum security would take planning, preparation, and foresight...none of which DJT is capable of carrying out. He is too busy "showboating" for his moneyed members and other "dignitaries." You would think that anyone staying at the palace of ostentation would be wary of conducting any business while there (or would they pre-suppose that DJT would be sure to upgrade all the security...electronic and otherwise). The swamp is spreading like "The Blob" everywhere associated with the evil emperor.
