As Deadline Looms, WikiLeaks Reveals Corporate Demands from the European Union in the Trade in Services Agreement

Friday, for the first time, WikiLeaks released demands by the EU to lock in a wide list of services sectors to TISA’s privatization and deregulation provisions, including public services in developing countries. In the mid-2000s, when European campaigners leaked similar demands during corporate efforts to expand the General Agreement on Trade in Services, the EU was forced to walk back many of those demands.

The Brexit vote sealed the fate of every global trade deal.
The oligarchies in every country may still be holding out the hope that the "citizens" will come to their senses and allow these trade agreements to become law, but they are whistling past the graveyard.
The theory of globalization is rapidly turning into a pipedream that only the 1% could love.

Years ago I began to ponder why a Chinese physicist, who studied the same equations as an American physicist, should be paid a fifth as much. This seemed short sighted and unfair.
Now the "elites" of the world have decided the same and have banded together to solidify their position and reify their longevity.
The trouble is, it is hard to dislodge this hegemony once in place and the playing field becomes slanted in favor of the very, very few.
We on the bottom demand a way forward based on skill, luck, and determination. We are the many, we are the immigrates of all races and countries fighting live and perhaps prosper. We are the spearpoint.
