Susan Collins is partly to blame, but Mitch McConnell is much the culprit. He was the one that wouldn’t even let Obama’s choice for the Supreme Court wasn’t even given shearing and McConnell was the one that was behind the lack of any real investigation of Kavanaugh. He also jammed The Comey Barrett through days before the election. But I also blame the Democrats for doing nothing to stop this all from happening.

When moscow mcsnake confirmed Barrett 2 seconds after RBG’s unfortunate death, I predicted the SC would miraculously seem reasonable …for a while, to appease those wishing to expand the court. And regarding the filibuster, I predicted the GQP would let pass a couple of bills that wouldn’t hurt their future election prospects, appeasing those that wanted to abolish it.
This all seems very obvious to me? The GQP will never ever play in good faith.

For Kavanaugh to claim that he would value tradition when he had no intention of doing that is about par for the course for far right wing Catholics. All he has to do is go to confession and everything is hunky dory. My ex has told me countless times that going to confession makes things “as if it never happened.”

Obama was just as much a tool as Collins is. Before he was the nominee, I quipped that the powers that be were not about to let a Black man OR a woman ascend to the throne if he/she had any real intentions of doing any substantive changes.
Then when he said he’d pull out of Iraq and would invade Afghanistan, that was the final red flag I needed to know he was a sellout or coward or both. A real shame because he’s a very bright man-sellout.
The mystique around him and his wife makes me barf. Always has and always will.

Susan Collins won re-election long after anybody paying attention could see what she was. Not every state thinks like we might like.
She was built up by the DNC-Corporate-Press alliance, not the Fox side of things, much like Trump was, initially.

That was theater, smoke, and mirrors—his hearings. How did he get through when they could document his lies about his work in various positions in government? The sex was salacious and damning but unprovable. The other was damning and could be proved. It elevated some people in the eyes of the public, though. But the snake slid into the Supreme Court and we’re stuck with his sniveling snarl.

There are only two possibilities for Susan Collins giving a free pass to uterus wardens like Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett. She’s so stupid and naive that she needs a handler to make sure she doesn’t walk out in traffic. Or she knew full well how hostile to abortion rights they are and simply lied.
I really don’t care why she helped the Supreme Court turn my granddaughter into breeding stock. All I know is if she says “My name is Susan Collins,” it’s safe to run with it. If she says anything else, run from it.
