As Oklahoma Teachers' Strike Enters Second Week, Education Supporters Pack State Capitol to Capacity

Betsy DeVos, STFU you worthless POS. We will not allow you to destroy public education like you did in Michigan.

Reconfire: You are so right! We will NOT allow her to destroy public education.

I imagine that somewhere there are wingnutters going berserk over the very idea of a $10,000 raise. What they realize but ignore is that the last time the teachers got a raise was around 2007 before the republicans took over. Since then despite the increasing cost of living, they’ve not gotten anything. The $10,000 brings their salaries back to what it was the last time they got a hike.

The best part of this is how terrified Betsy is of these teacher setting a good example for their students, the future wage slaves of America. Hopefully they’re going to set an example for all of us. If they can do it, we can too!
