As Trump and May Claim Concern for Syrian Civilians, Critics Slam Leaders for Anti-Refugee Stance

Julia Conley, staff writer

While President Donald Trump's address to the nation suggested that he and his counterparts in France and the United Kingdom launched airstrikes out of concern for Syrian civilians, a number of critics pointed out that the leaders have shown little compassion for those same innocent people as nations have debated taking in Syrian refugees in recent months.

As shown in this article, the Russians announced that a chemical attack was going to take place in Syria nearly one month prior to the Douma attack:

They also were aware that Washington planned to launch an attack against Syria because of this so-called evidence of civilian casualties.

“No but you see that just proves that Russia planned to give Assad the go ahead to do these attacks in advance.”

This is literally the justification I’ve been hearing from people who have drank the kool-aid.

Heck, just look at the money. Dump’s last spasm a year ago cost $100-million give or take some considerable millions just in missile costs alone. We have no idea at this point (Saturday morning) what was used so have no sense of the cost in dollars. But that money could handle relief for all those refugees for a long time. Instead, Dumps spends on things that go boom. Like the rest of his “life-us horribilus.”

‘“If the Trump administration truly cares about the fate of Syrian civilians, it can do far better in resettling Syrian refugees.”’

Had me at “If the Trump administration truly cares”
