As Trump Applauds Brazil's New Pro-Fascist President, Bolsonaro Wastes No Time Attacking Environment and Marginalized Brazilians

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro—whose inauguration on New Year's Day was lauded by U.S. President Donald Trump—wasted no time Wednesday introducing policies targeting the environment, indigenous Brazilians, the LGBTQ community, and other marginalized populations, realizing the worst fears of progressives who have protested the openly misogynist, pro-torture president.

All the Jewish gays should be protesting Netanyahu’s presence at this pig’s inauguration.

Do we know of anyone that goes to these extremes that has anything that even resembles a conscience? We have used most of the words to identify Trump’s behavior, but it’s time for action.
He has gone rogue and there are few that can reel him in, back to a reasoned behavior.
The Mueller investigation has to finish quickly or it, by itself, becomes an albatross.

This is a dangerous time in history. There seem to be real problems with the opposition parties who represent a more progressive idea of existence. Those parties seem to be led by people who are in some way accomodating in that they really never put up a strong enough opposition. It might be that they (the politicians) are all playing the same game and we (those not in political positions) are in another game with another view of the world. When I was thinking of Bolsonaro yesterday - guess who came to mind? Francisco Franco.

Fascist ideology is really very simple: It is the ideology of hatred and fear. The most marginalized, the most disenfranchised first, and then those who dare not to toe the party line.
