Assange’s US Extradition Battle: The Fight to Defend the Conscience of America

Nozomi Hayase

It has been over three weeks since Ecuador illegally terminated political asylum of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and the UK police violently arrested him. Assange is now held in solitary confinement in what many have called the UK’s Guantanamo Bay.

Where’s the link to contribute to Julian’s legal defense fund? Make that links. Below are two I found and there is still the defend wikileaks site.

“History is happening,” as Nozomi’s book reveals and this piece is a deepening
of all that she already exposed about the Deep State’s ruling reign of corruption, and its
vicious loathing of authentic journalism.
And while the awakening of America’s conscience is much to be desired; Hamlet
expresses an inner human foible that, “Thus conscience does make cowards of us all,” the
fear of revenge attacks by the likes of “Bloody Gina’s” CIA are real. Although, those few inner
lights of humanity: MLK, Julian Assange, Manning and all the whistleblowers are special people
(saints they used to be called); so could it be that by listening to them change in America’s
history will come?

Assange has been a prophet for our new technological era - in many aspects. And he has conscientiously gambled with his life to unmask the hypocrisy and weaknesses of the world’s declining democracies. He is both a modern and a classical hero, and the pattern of his persecution by the mediocre psychopaths in power, fits that of previous instances in human history.

I remember hearing and seeing that tape and those American helicopter killers were complaining that those people in the van shouldn’t have brought their kids. Wow, well American soldiers haven’t changed since My Lai , have they? We might have the biggest military, but not the smartest one. We need more Hugh Thompsons in the military and in the government----but we don’t seem to have ethical minds in the military, if WE EVEN HAD the best military in the world. We don’t , but we seem to see so much cruelty from so many. Might does not make RIGHT.
Julian Assange is a journalist and publisher. He should not be in jail for doing the work of people of conscience. We used to have great news too, but now we just have a media that can’t recognize the TRUTH from the awful consequences of selling their souls.
