WASHINGTON - The Ballots Not Bullets Coalition, a group of organizations from across the country concerned by the increasing use of violence—and threats of violence—to affect public policy in the United States, is deeply concerned about the takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge by sons of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and other heavily armed anti-government radicals. In response, the Coalition is calling on federal authorities to enforce the laws and hold the occupiers accountable for their criminal actions.
What gross hypocrisy! The laws of the land are much more observed in the breach than in the observance thereof. Just look at Washington! When was the last time that any important government leader was charged for breaking the law while in office? I don't mean any erstwhile juniour Senator or Congressman. I mean someone like Spiro Agnew.
These dickheads take over a publicly owned nature preserve with the threat of violence, to push their own private land ownership agenda under the guise of fighting for Constitutional principles, and idiots that have no concept at all who is actually being the hypocrites rush in to defend these jerks.
Meanwhile, they make themselves at home, deny access to the public that actually owns the place and become media darlings in the process.
The depravity of right wing culture is boundless.
