Because 'Climate Leaders Don't Build Pipelines,' Greenpeace Greets Trudeau in London With 'Crudeau Oil' Protest

Andrea Germanos, staff writer

Even a transatlantic flight to the United Kingdom wasn't enough on Wednesday for Canadian Prime Minster Justin Trudeau to dodge the mounting opposition to the Trans Mountain pipeline in his home country.

Yes, the epitome of hypocrisy! Claimed climate leadership? More like … climate, devastation leadership.

Last time I checked, the largest land lease holder for tar sands was…you guessed it…the Koch Brothers

Most refiniries can not refine this stuff so it has to be shipped to refiniries specifically designed for heavy oil. The KOCH Brothers are heavily invested in those down in Texas.

Added to that Oil from Venezuela is heavy oil and can be refined at those same terminals. This was why the US was a prime market for oil from that Country. Will guess what, if you want to ensure sanctions against Venezuela work, it hard to do if you buying their oil. If you cut off oil from Venezuela the Kock bothers will complain because there nothing for those refineries to do…well that unless they can get more of this crap from Canada! No Socialist Governments up there!

How disgusting that Kinder Morgan, and its current corporate servants, the Liberals (Cons sidelined temporarily due to too much dirty energy smoozing),
will use our tax dollars to prop up an entity which is against democracy and the use of public money for the well being of citizens.
Corporations, leading the charge for ever smaller government and less taxes (read less health care, more dirty energy, etc.), who are on record as being disgusted by government waste and profligate spending, are all too happy to receive our billions.
Why let liars and thieves rule us?
