'Beyond Bleak': Nobody in the World Wants to Know the Horror That Is Yemen

Jon Queally, staff writer

As Amnesty International warns that likely war crimes on all sides of Yemen's ongoing fighting are leaving a "bloody trail of civilian death and destruction" in the poverty-stricken nation, the U.N Food Program on Wednesday is warning of famine while the international aid group UNICEF announced it is children experiencing the brunt of the conflict with an average of eight children being killed or maimed every single day.

I see Amnesty's back to its "war crimes on all sides" schtick, a la Gaza. Holding everyone accountable, victims as well as executioners, is like holding no one accountable. I guess Amnesty's need to protect the Saudis and the US-sponsored Yemeni rulers is just as strong as their need to cover Israel's a*s. As long as "war crimes" are being committed against the Empire's agenda, well, I guess it's all right for the Empire to strike back with full force. It's only logical. Pretty soon we'll all be blind, as the "cognitive infiltration" agenda nears completion.
