Broken Windows, Broken Spines

Broken Windows, Broken Spines

Robert C. Koehler

The 21st century has skewed off plan and begun to break open. Its self-designated guardians and explainers look on, at times, confused.

“But at least 15 police officers have been hurt, 200 arrests, 144 vehicle fires — these are statistics. There’s no excuse for that kind of violence, right?”

The number of Baltimore police that reside out of the city and some out of Maryland is remarkable. Therefore, there must exist a mercenary attitude of the police, as they have no stake in the community that they "serve". This can not stand. Are our inner cities to be modeled after the Warsaw Ghetto? I hope not, but there does seem to be a strong analogy there.

Blitzer, of course, is a Wolf in anchorman's clothing and shilling FOR the Empire, while DeRay Mckesson is a young black organizer and citizen-journalist trying to put the correct narrative story together to uncover and Expose the Empire FOR 'the people'.

Of course most of the deceitful MSM media/propaganda/entertainment-sector of the Disguised Global Capitalist Empire that only 'poses' as, and is HQed in, our former country is desperately trying to cover-up any truth about the Empire, and uses MSM shills like Wolf to discredit anyone who would ever publicly talk about Empire, and don't like any talk about the hidden Empire, which needs to be diagnosed, exposed, and 'shouted-out in peaceful protests.

As Zygmunt Bauman hauntingly puts it, “In the case of an ailing social order, the absence of an adequate diagnosis … is a crucial, perhaps decisive, part of the disease.”

Berman, Morris (2011-02-07). Dark Ages America: The Final Phase of Empire (p. 22). Norton. Kindle Edition.

Anyway, the previously secret plan of this hidden cancer of Empire, was adopted by the Disguised Global crony Capitalist Empire merely 'posing' as, and HQed, in our former country, and has resulted in resource looting and catastrophic violence on the periphery and terminal rot from within (by) the ruling elite of this Empire, which Pepe Escobar calls the "Empire of Chaos" and former war reporter, Chris Hedges, describes as an "Empire of Illusion" for its ability to use the media/propaganda/entertainment-sector of the Empire to delude most Americans.

Fortunately, the black community, which is the most politically conscious in America, recognizes the 'tip of the Empire's spear in its face' (or should we say the '9mm bullets in its back'), and additional larger groups of Americans; the poor, the unemployed, the non-voters, the working poor, the slipping middle classes, the Wall Street looted, and the 47% that Romney said the system (of Empire) could ignore ARE NOW fast beginning to understand, like Mckesson and the black community, that they are essentially 'subjects' of an Empire and not citizens of any kind of functional democracy.

"The back-and-forth between Blitzer and Mckesson went on for four minutes, with the anchorman continuing to assume he was in control..."

"News actors" like Blitzer are so steeped in their own privilege to control the terms of debate, they may not even comprehend when someone they grant a role in their charade refuses to play by the rules.

The insubordination expressed by McKesson (in-sub-ordination, refusal to sub-ordinate oneself to another, refusal to literally count oneself less than another) is precisely the correct response. Point directly at the false terms of debate, and demand a response to the real terms: "You are suggesting this idea that broken windows are worse than broken spines, right?" Presumably the professionally deaf Blitzer did not comprehend the question, and did not answer.

A radio false analyst like Limbaugh, faced with such a direct question, would just disconnect the insubordinate questioner, ignore the question, and steamroll forward with his false debate terms.

i never watch CNN, but perhaps such a blunt authoritarian move is not yet considered acceptable for someone playing Blitzer's role?

webwalk, wait until 'guests' start to expose, 'call-out', and non-violently confront the real truth of our supposed essential country being nothing less than a Disguised Global Capitalist EMPIRE only 'posing' as our formerly democratic Republic of a country.

Then Wolf Blitzer, George Steponisdick, and all the other practiced liars and paid shills of this EMPIRE are going to be rocked to their very socks --- but 'the people' will discover that all their angst, oppression, poverty, 'symptom problems', rising tyranny, and pain is being inflicted by the very same singular deceitful, and hidden Cancer of Empire of all our Maladies!

#7

i love the way "Wolf Blitzer" is such an appropriate name, we do not even need to invent one for him!

People now have the ability to talk to each other faster and more intimately than ever before. The one-way media of TV and radio are more marginalized every day, as communication is increasingly a dialogue, not a monologue.

The talking head of Oz, the great and terrible, has no credence in a world where comments and posts provide instant commentary and criticism.

Our elected representatives must face the reality of loyalty being a 2-way street. Or be thrown on the trash heap of history. Again.

#9

Wolf is just another corporate shill for the Plutocratic, 1%; otherwise, he would not be allowed access to the dinosaur MSM.. But you have got to love how appropriate his name is! Wolf Blitzer is nothing but a wolf in sheep's clothing for the sheeple!

#10

If you turn off your TV, they go away. Demand bars and restaurants turn off their boob tubes. You'd be amazed at how the tension in a room drops when the flickering and yelling stop,

#11

They fail to grasp that talking back is the new normal. Blitzer looks old and impotent compared to Mr. McKesson.

The Dying of Western Civ. They had a 400 year run, fueled by testosterone and greed. (A male monogod? Really? WTF is that ?) Only violence has maintained their Empire. Two way mass communication has defeated them. Their perverted narrative cannot withstand Enlightenment. Never could.

"Hillary Clinton...has called for “a ‘true national debate’ on how to end the ‘era of mass incarceration’” — perhaps officially unburying centrist Democrats from three-plus decades of cowardice and capitulation to the Reagan right."

Or perhaps officially saying anything she thinks will help gain her access to the levers of personal enrichment through corporate fealty.

"I say this knowing there’s no certainty of serious change at this point"

It would be closer to say there is virtual certainty of no serious change at this point.

Don't leave out Erin Burnett, so typical of brittle people desperately afraid of anything suggesting chaos. Both she and Wolf are not much better than Fox, wouldn't you say? The Wolf should be compared to the Fox.

Of course Wolf and Erin will say "We do care" (about poverty and lack of opportunity and such), but do they ever ever get the emphasis right and the priority straight?

Never. Their brittle reactionism trumps all just as for Rush Limbaugh or the regulars at Fox or contemporary The Washington Post.

There was a great old Czech film back in the Dubcek era, a time of small let-up from extreme social oppression. I won't tell the story or the title (forgotten), just the dedication at the very end: "This film is dedicated to all those whose indignation is limited to a cracked up salad."

The corpress' role is to both manufacture consent

And contempt

Just look at that "Black Site" in Chicago where the Infamous "Dual Israeli/USA Citizen" Zionist gangster , Clinton crony- Raum Imanuel resides as Mayor re-elected...
"The facility, a nondescript warehouse on Chicago’s west side known as Homan Square, has long been the scene of secretive work by special police units. Interviews with local attorneys and one protester who spent the better part of a day shackled in Homan Square describe operations that deny access to basic constitutional rights".
⦁ "Keeping arrestees out of official booking databases.
⦁ Beating by police, resulting in head wounds.
⦁ Shackling for prolonged periods.
⦁ Denying attorneys access to the “secure” facility.
⦁ Holding people without legal counsel for between 12 and 24 hours, including people as young as 15.
"At least one man was found unresponsive in a Homan Square “interview room” and later pronounced dead".

I had to read this from the "Guardian" of London as the main stream press here in "The Home of the Brave and land of the FREE" press, the 4th Estate, will predictably remain silent about the capture of the American people in real time...

We are looking at an introduction to Fascist Police State conditioning here- Nothing else can explain these atrocities....
WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe she should have A heart to heart talk with her husbands old buddy Rahm Immanuel, yes that Zionist dual USA/Israeli citizen Whitehouse powerbroker who is now Mayor of Chicago and who's police force is in charge of that police state "Black Site" known as "Homan Square"

Wolf "Blitzkrieg" works better for me....

By Kareem Abdul-Jabbar:

The chorus of pundits proclaiming shock at the riots is another version of indignation not supported by history. CNN’s Wolf Blitzer said it was “hard to believe this was happening in a major American city.” He then added, “I don’t remember seeing anything like this in the United States of America in a long time.” How could a journalist not remember the recent riots in Ferguson, Los Angeles, and New York?

America was born out of protest. We felt economically suppressed and politically repressed, and we changed things. Slaves weren’t freed by benevolent leaders wanting to do the right thing. No one gave the American worker better and safer conditions out of gratitude for a job well done. Vietnam veterans didn’t get their benefits from an Agent-Orange-denying government by sitting at home waiting patiently. Each time, Americans took to the streets to be heard.
