Direct online elections by encrypted ballot is the best way to increase voter turnout.

Just watch our for a sudden, usually temporary malfunction or irregularity of equipment. Glitch-ity-glitch. Exit polls once the holy grail are now second fiddle to .....glitch-ity-glitch

Paper ballots under human control are the only secure way. With tampering a major felony. Any computer system can be gamed. The NSA and CIA already control the WWW and encryption. Every voter fingerprints his/her paper ballot. Eliminates duplicate and fake ballots. Elections take longer but are secure. The polls are open for an entire weekend.

I guess you didn't hear about all the paper ballots they found in dumpsters in Florida. And about the voting machines that were hacked and votes changed.

If the NSA and CIA already control the WWW and encryption, why does Edward Snowden, an expert hired by the NSA, urge us all to use encryption for secure communications? The polls are open for an entire weekend, with short lines if you live in a white area. In minority communities, the lines of voters sometimes reach around an entire block, providing the poor can take time off work to vote.

Good that the New Poor People's campaign recognizes people are part of the environment.

Good that it is connecting the dots among issues.

It all leads back to one thing. Question the system. Question capitalism.

Then find the alternatives and participate in the transformation - they are everywhere to be found. Be the change. Be the solution.

We must end the Federal Reserve and follow the directions of our Constitution. The money of the United States needs to be in the Treasury Dept under the direction of Congress. The banksters are killing our democracy by corrupting our elected officials. Our tax funds must be used to meet the needs of the people and to protect our environment and not for endless wars of plunder and aggression all over the planet. We need a fair tax system where the rich pay their fair share. To stimulate the economy we need to help the poor people and not give trillions to the bankers who should be put in jail.
