Calling Out Trump Denial, Durbin Confirms President Said 'Those Hate-Filled' Words 'Repeatedly'

#61

There were no other Democrats present.

#62

Inappropriate analogy. Obama was referring to the SITUATION in Libya (Shit SHOW). He was NOT referring to the Country or its people. BIG DIFFERENCE. Nice try, but no cigar!

#63

Our current pretender of a POTUS is not only a liar, but a coward as well. He doesn’t even have the balls to fess up to his statements…wants to hide behind denials. And his base can;t even see that. What a bunch of gullible fools. Given this blatant denial, its not hard to see that Comey is telling the truth when he claimed Trump pressured him to let Flynn go.

#64

Well, I haven’t read all the comments here yet (I can’t keep up!) but I would just like to say:

Let’s all have a toast to our leader, how he shows the whole world what a successful American businessman is really like, and how he fits in so well to our capitalist free-market economic system. Truly a man of his time and his country!

#65

He would embarrass the rest of us less if the didn’t open his shithole BUT the reality is that he has spoken the unspoken view of the US. We have treated poor and especially non-European countries like door mats, like sub-human serfdoms for centuries plundering them, installing bloody puppet dictators, raping, pillaging, torturing and murdering with abandon, turning them into violence-plagued, impoverished shit-holes. In short, Trump is again an idiot beacon of truth exposing the ugly reality of America’s historic and ongoing perspective and policy toward poor countries.

#66

My theory is that Trump’s mouth operates on its own and is totally independent from his brain. In short, he is suffering from the “blurts.” He needs electro-shock therapy and with each blurt an electrical shock goes through his undershorts.

My favorite Donald Trump quote - “One of they key problems today is that politics is such a disgrace. Good people don’t go into government.” I just wish he would be looking in the mirror and repeating that a few million times.

The real shithole is your mouth,Trump .I wonder how many attempts were made on shithole Trump’s life that we don’t know about?

Democrats Dodge Bullet
Immigrant Community Hit Instead

In a recent article in Spanish published in Colombian News Magazine, Razón Publica, I concluded that during 2018 everything the Democratic Party did would be geared not to promoting productive policies but rather to sabotaging them in order to maximize the party’s prospects for the 2018 Congressional elections. It did not take long for my sad prophecy to become reality and the “Dreamers” and the immigrant community are the first victims.

The setting: President Trump took the initiative to push for resolution of the decades old immigration conundrum on a highly praised bipartisan basis, even agreeing to yield on important points at the acknowledged risk of alienating his base, which it did.

How did the supposed defenders of immigrants’ rights react?

The same way the always have. Immigrants, like blacks, like women, like gays, like all of the polarized subgroups generated to advance Democratic Party electoral ambitions are mere tools. In an effort to continue the constant efforts to delegitimize the elections of 2016, the Democratic Party and of course, its allies in the “mainstream” media, have sabotaged the negotiations alleging that the President, in supposedly confidential interparty negotiations to attain meaningful immigration reform, used the pejorative term “shithole” to describe countries from which new immigrants should be discouraged in favor of countries from which immigration should be encouraged in conjunction with his merit rather than azar based immigration reform proposals.

An unfortunate term but most of all unfortunate because of its unfortunate accuracy. An ironic accuracy given the reasons why such countries, to some extent, deserve the description.

Haiti is a shithole! A country mired in poverty and disease in no small part because of United States exploitation and that exploitation, in no small part includes its economic rape orchestrated by the Clinton Foundation following the earthquakes in 2010 and the ensuing shattering of its society and resulting flow of refugees. Central America is in part a shithole mired in violence, in no small part because of United States exploitation and that exploitation, in no small part includes the rape of Honduras’ political system under the supervision of then Secretary of State Clinton with the ensuing shattering of its society and resulting flow of refugees. The same is all too true of much of Africa. The same is all too true of most of the Middle East, especially in Syria and Libya as to which then Secretary of State Clinton once cackled “we came, we saw, he died”. A cackle with repercussions today as far away as the Korean peninsula.

Just how stupid are we if we continue to allow ourselves to be manipulated by such evilly cynical politicians? By such an evilly cynical mainstream media?

I was and always will be an immigrant to the United States albeit after a bit more than half a century, I am now oddly an expatriate in the land of my birth, a dual national deeply committed to both of the countries that I love and claim as my own and deeply committed as well to global welfare and peace, to political honesty and transparency and to minimization of the worst social disease we face, overwhelming hypocrisy as the best means for keeping us virtually enslaved economically and politically, hypocrisy all too well illustrated by the Democratic Party’s success in controlling and exploiting the black vote in the United States and now attempting to do the same for immigrants.

I guess we’ll have an opportunity once more during the 2018 Congressional elections to demonstrate just how stupid we are, just how susceptible we are to arguments based on fear and hyperbole, just how willing we are to vote against causes and people rather than for the real reform we need, a political system without the Democratic Party or for that matter, the Republican Party, perhaps less hypocritical than the former but just as wrongheaded. Just how willing we are to permit turning our own countries into shitholes.

“Wolf! “Wolf! “Wolf! “Wolf! “Wolf! “Wolf! Scream the mainstream media headlines.

Now that Russiagate has been shown to have been a farce bought and paid for by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic Party and implemented through Obama administration political subversion of our system of justice, a new Wolf is presented for our further delusion.

So?

Just how stupid are we?

Oh, that’s right…it was Clinton’s cigar

#70

Obviously not enough as he’s still here …

#71

wolfess, in the past, I’ve addressed your use of “retarded” in this public forum, and you provided a response. I thought it was inappropriate then, and I still do.

The use of “retarded” / “retard” in a mocking form --is there any other use of it?-- also publicly denigrates a class of people who have developmental disabilities, and it’s inappropriate to use it in this or any forum.

My two cents.

#72

Biden is an insider. I don’t like insider Democrats because they have a close resemblance to Republican insiders, and they are what is wrong with this country’s political system. I would VERY much prefer a feisty Elizabeth Warren to become the first female president in America.

#73

Ah, yes — the exemplary, kindhearted Brits. They were such notably benevolent dictators in Ireland, India
and South Africa.  I wonder to what extent it is the French influence that helps the Canadians behave in a somewhat more civilized manner than most Amerikans?

While the use of a term which has a long history of negative associations – especially among children in junior high and adults of similar social advancement – it IS pretty obvious that Tweetle-Dumb suffers from some serious developmental deficiencies, especially in the areas of empathy and acceptance of personal responsibility for his actions. IMHO, he is narcissistic to the point of being a sociopath and should have been locked up long ago.  (Actually, he would probably have been locked up long ago for simple criminal activity had he not inherited enough money to buy his way out of trouble, both by hiring crooked lawyers and by outright bribes.)

Close, Tweetle-Dumb — but no cigar.  The reality is that only narcissistic megalomaniacs go into government – the worst of the worst.   Doubt me?  Just look at the cesspool in Washington Shithole, D.C.

#74

Well said. Trump is only pronouncing out loud what the establishment thinks - based on historical facts - including Clinton’s recent involvement in Haiti or Libya etc etc. It is infantile to be sooo outraged with what an idiot says…vs…what an entire establishment has done for a long long time…and also add Hollywood and the media in that establishment pool.

#75

Well. Since in this segment we seem to be into expletives; a bully is sometimes referred to as an “asshole”. So would it be inappropriate to call a global bully an “asshole” country?

#76

Hey Repubs, don’t get into a spitting match with Durbin. He is creditable to a fault. Those of you who have gone over to s*** for brains keep your mouth shut. Claim it’s classified. Makes you look like you are in the know.

#77

Do you work very hard at having fuzzy thinking or are you just trolling?

#78

Poor excuse to cover for shit for brains in the oval office. I think shrinks call that projection.

Lrx

I guess because there has always been such a strong belief in voting taught to us all
that many just can’t believe that our entire system of elections has been taken over by
corporations?

Additionally, Americans have been voting on hack-able electronic voting machines for
more than 50 years now … which were being hacked over telephone lines and supposedly
today can be hacked via satellites.

Our two national parties are owned by Elites/wealthy as corporations.

We in SC suffer under corrupt greaseballs like Graham
