Catering to Chemical Industry's Demands, Trump EPA Scales Back Safety Checks on Toxic Substances

Jessica Corbett, staff writer

In yet another case of the Trump administration delivering a dangerous blow to public health protections by catering to the chemical industry's demands, Eric Lipton at the New York Times reports that the Environmental Protection Agency is scaling back how it evaluates the safety risks of potentially toxic substances.

The human petroindustrial grid is an earth-killer, no matter who runs the government.
That being said, Trump, Pruitt, the Kochs and all the other greedy environmental destroyers are greatly accelerating the death of the biosphere that will happen anyway unless we immediately scale back human population growth and consumption/pollution rates.
We’ve built the world economy and our cultural infrastructure by raping Mother Earth, and we’re all going to suffer for it.
People such as Trump and Pruitt who rev up the anthropogenic destruction machine are devils.

Previoiusly: regulating a cluster of goons focused on making money at all costs. Now: lifting all regulations so same cluster of goons can continue to poison, steal, cheat, and exploit the planet and humanity. Dante would have had a field day describing the deserved fate of those monsters.
