Charlottesville Is An Urgent Call for Voting Rights

Libero Della Piana

Saturday night I arrived in Virginia as the conscience of the country and world turned toward the state. Earlier that day, hundreds of organized white supremacists gathered for a “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville in the mountainous Western part of the state, home to the University of Virginia.

That morning, a mob of neo-Nazis, Klansmen, and young white men armed with sticks, pipes, shields, helmets, pepper spray and smoke bombs turned violent as they paraded through the normally quiet college town, clashing with counterprotesters and randomly beating Black bystanders.

Charlottesville is an urgent call for Law Enforcement to Protect and Serve.

If you are racist, you can not protect and serve.

Every applicant seeking a badge and a gun must be “Fully Vetted” for Hate and Bigotry before given the right to take a life.

Do democrats really want full voting rights for all Americans???Ask Nina Turner—she ran for sec of state in Ohio----a state ripe for reform in voting methods—yet Obama never helped her in this effort-WHY? Look at the African American population in the south-----something makes no sense-unless most of these African Americans vote republican-----there is a bigger story here that’s not being told.
