Ok, democrats. Get transportation going.
If you can find anyone in Georgia or Chicago who answers to the
label, latinx, I’ll buy them a coffee and donut.
Maybe provide them a few extra ballots too.

It is no isolated incident, not an aberration but a policy carried out in the USA that has been counter to all the developments in democracies across the world to make voting easier and to increase voter participation.

A short essay i wrote just after November 3 about America’s voter suppression.

Piss off the voters and you may not get the result you were looking for.
Could energize a few more to stand in line on voting day.
Early, AND day of voting.

OH… we get it… Not enough early voting sites were closed to get the ‘proper’ result in the general election, so this is now the solution.

Bingo! Cobb County was once “represented” by Newt Gingrich. 'nuff said.

Two words, actually four. CAR POOLS AND RENTAL VANS. Drive to the white polling places if they don’t want to put them in black ones.

Or to put it another way, we Georgia, Republicans did not cheat good enough in the general election and will make sure it doesn’t happen again!

Republican control of the Senate “… is likely to be a constant thorn in the side of President Joe Biden and his agenda.”

More like a knife to the throat, but what the hey. What I wanted to read was that there was going to be a lawsuit to require the polling places to remain in place.

These continuous attacks to suppress the vote are nothing more than an admission by the GOP that their platform is bankrupt and would not stand a chance of ever winning elections fair and square. At some point, something’s got to give, this cannot continue indefinitely.
