In my book this heresy constitutes identifiable institutionalized genocide. The attempts at “plausible denial” MUST BE CONFRONTED NOW.

200,000 dead in the US alone.
Make private defense contractors obsolete.
Change policy and prepare for ‘rogue’ tendencies if for no other reason than those addicted to this egregiously failed model will only continue digging in their hole until the earth literally collapses over them. That is what they are trained to do. You know: toxic high of testosterone that by its very nature generates entire abusive patterns that have been the net of death of the financialized system SINCE ITS INCEPTION.

These two wouldn’t know what actually DEFENDING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE really means, if they fell over it.

They are set up to defend an economic system and associated interests, The system supposedly designed to give all Americans participation in decision-making, has never been of their concern, and in fact is often seen by them as a threat to their power.

Two problems
One: congress should have been more specific when allocating taxpayers borrowing one billion dollars for PPE and using the defense dept. to acquire the needed protections.

second: this was known in DC in July and it gets reported two months later.
’ the committee said in a July ’

Is there any nation on Earth which gets less security and less success per military dollar spent than America? Our military is putting us all in the poor house while they can’t even defeat poor countries in over a decade. WW II took 5 years with way fewer generals.

The war industry and associated interests have become the main threat to the Republic; corrupting civilian governance, diverting funding to crony arms manufacturers, fomenting and supporting endless for-profit war, and corrupting the US Congress, as Dwight Eisenhower warned our nation against - his warning along with that of Maj-General Smedley Butler have been silenced by the overt MICC.

Eisenhower’s original speech labeled the problem the Military Industrial Congressional Complex, AKA the “Permanent War Economy”, recognizing the corruption we now see in near every congressional district and elected rep. that caters to the War Machine and its goals over our civilian governance and goals, and that is a de facto treason, IMO.

" “This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence — economic, political, even spiritual — is felt in every city, every statehouse, every office of the federal government." - " In the councils of government we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military–industrial complex. . The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists, and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals so that security and liberty may prosper together.” - President/general Dwight David Eisenhower January 17, 1960

Marine Corps, Maj. General Smedley Butler, twice recipient of the US Congressional Medal of Honor, gave speeches and wrote “War is a Racket”-1935, that came out of his experiences in war, details the dangers, that Eisenhower enlarged. .
" War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small ‘inside’ group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes.".

Our adoration and near worship of the military is a product of long manipulation and propaganda. If our Republic and Constitutional government is to survive we must educate the public of the truth of how and who controls our government and electoral processes!

OLIGARCHS ARE PULLING THE STRINGS OF ALL OUR GOVERNMENT This is just anther common nightmare created by them to feed their SICKNESS. NO AMOUNT OF SELF BLAME, WOULDA-COULDA- SHOULDA MATTERS. There is no time left for the public to learn how to deal with what is happening We are living in the time of control and manipulation by psychopathic Oligarchic power over all and everything. Waking up is realizing the truth of the sick, perverted influence over all of our lives, culture and future
Our biggest mistake is assuming Oligarchs, who employ our politicians to carry out social murder and climate murder on their behalf, are human like us and have compassion and empathy for others. This is rubbish. There is no evidence Oligarchs/Neoliberals are human with human values. They are WHITE COLLAR PSYCHOPATHS.They will arrange to destroy humans en masse if we do not comply to their will and the instructions of their bought politicians.

Because Oligarchs are psychopaths they have no mercy for the people or interest in defeating climate change or saving humanity from extinction
OUR BIGGEST ENEMY IS OLIGARCH’S
THEY PRACTICE LEGALIZED PSYCHOPATHY ELIMINATING THE CONCEPT OF “THE PUBLIC GOOD” or “COMMUNITY” and replacing it with “individual responsibility.” (which is a lie against the truth our interconnected interdependent lives)
OLIGARCHIC Neoliberalism only works for those who are rich to start with. They pressure the poorest people in a society to find solutions to their lack of health care, education and social security all by themselves – then blaming them, if they fail, as “lazy.”
THE OLIGARCHIC RULE OF THE MARKET
Liberate"free" enterprise and private enterprise from any bonds imposed by the government no matter how much social damage this causes.
Oligarchs demand greater openness to international trade and investment, as in NAFTA.
Their bought politicians reduce wages by de-unionizing workers and eliminating workers’ rights that had been won over many years of struggle.
They will abolish price controls and have total freedom of movement for capital, goods and services. They use their media to convince us this is good for us, they say “an unregulated market is the best way to increase economic growth, which will ultimately benefit everyone.” It’s like Reagan’s “trickle-down” economics but the wealth never trickles down.
OLIGARCHS WILL CUT ALL PUBLIC EXPENDITURE FOR SOCIAL SERVICES
like education, health care and pensions
OLIGARCHS WILL REDUCE THE SAFETY-NET FOR THE POOR, and SENIORS
They will ignore the maintenance of roads, bridges, water supply – again in the name of reducing government’s role. Of course, they don’t oppose government subsidies and tax benefits for business.
DEREGULATION.
They reduce government regulation of everything that could diminish profits, including protecting the environment and safety on the job.
PRIVATIZATION.
They sell off state-owned enterprises, goods and services to private investors. This includes banks, key industries, railroads, toll highways, electricity, schools, hospitals and even fresh water. Although usually done in the name of greater efficiency, which is often needed, privatization has mainly had the effect of concentrating wealth even more in a few hands and making the public pay even more for its needs.

All the people who volunteer for the American military and/or work in the warmonger industries are complicit along with the Pentagon and the politicians in war crimes and other destruction.
The “defense industry” is a death industry, and it contributes equally to the GOP and the Democrats.
This is one area where both parties are equally guilty.
Eisenhower warned of it, and we are now a country in which immoral jobs devoted to war and weapons of war are a huge part of how our populace gets a paycheck.

My father, now deceased, was a quality control engineer which involves among other things cost analysis. During his career he was hired by a major defense contractor. Things were fine until he began pointing out manufacturing problems which if addressed would lead to significant cost savings. He was fired. “It’s other people’s money, stupid!”

The enormity of the premeditated subversion of our Republic goes far beyond the MICC and war-machine. attacks on the Common Good, our hard fought-for regulatory agencies, our great documents and institutions have been building for decades to reach this perfect storm of corruption, political extremism, near total end to truthful and full mass reporting of current events, overt greed-driven economy and corporate dominance, political mental illness and extremism rampant, and public education that has failed to teach critical subjects.

I have long said “democracy” is an OK system, but demands several (at least) prerequisites to work, those being: an educated population, an informed population, electoral processes absent the power of wealth to influence the outcome, and a population that actually votes - we have arguably had none of those in the requisite mass to assure that democracy works, and that is not by accident I believe.

I sometimes think a Benevolent Constitutional Monarchy with a Queen might be a more positive system…

Your story reminds me of our local shipyard, one of the largest in the world in the 60’s and 70’s, that builds Navy ships, and the largest employer in the state. Navy contracts dried up in the mid-late 80’s, so management decided to try an other product line to reduce lay-offs until more Navy contracts could be secured. They settled on RR boxcars, but the contract wasn’t a “cost plus” contract that they had gotten used to over the years with the Navy. They couldn’t do it, and lost millions of dollars on this contract, and the employment numbers were cut in half (28,000 to 14,000), about the same number they employ today, with more Navel contracts.

What the administration is saying is that if you became unemployed, have had to deal with covid, can’t pay your rent or mortgage payment, your car payment, etc, screw you, we are not concerned.
This applies across the board with this Mafia White House.

How high is the water mama, three feet and a-RISEN.

Yes, the narrative that the defense industry is for the defense of 99% of the American people has brainwashed the average American, sheeple for far too long. The narrative needs to BE CHANGED TO: THE OFFENSIVE DEATH INDUSTRY! To protect the vested wealth and interests of…THE AMERICAN EMPIRE.

In general, I tend to agree with what you post here, especially with what you post re the dangers of Trump remaining in office. You do, however, have a tendency to go a bit light on Biden and the unDems. And then there’s the one you just served up:

“All the people who volunteer for the American military and/or work in the warmonger industries are complicit along with the Pentagon and the politicians in war crimes and other destruction.”

The young men and women who volunteer for military service are most certainly not “complicit in war crimes and other destruction” just because they volunteer for that service. That’s total nonsense. They’re volunteering to serve their country, literally putting their lives on the line for the security of the nation. You and the rest of us owe them our respect, whether or not we’re smart enough to appreciate that.
