Contesting the U.S.-Saudi Bromance With 1,000 Cuts

Robert Naiman

On September 8, Senators Rand Paul (R-KY), Chris Murphy (D-CT), Mike Lee (R-UT), and Al Franken (D-MN) introduced a bipartisan resolution, SJ Res 39, to disapprove the $1.15 billion arms deal with Saudi Arabia notified to Congress on August 8.

Now Robert, you shouldn't bite the hand that feeds you. You know Hillary is for this deal. Stop complaining about it. Saudi Arabia won this deal fair and square, by contributing to the Clinton Foundation. Quid pro quo. Stop being such a right-wing sexist.

And Senator Franken, if you stop this deal, Hillary will take you off of her Christmas card list. She may also have you murdered at 4 in the morning someday. Stay out of her way, for your own good.

If you oppose this deal, then that means you want Trump to win. Bend the knee, and fall in line.
