'Continued Kindergarten-Level Logic': As Covid Cases Surge Across US, Trump Falsely Claims Rise Is Result of More Testing

Quite the opposite. In your case he’s manufacturing a crisis that doesn’t exist.

Today, I was educated by some one who knows more than I.
The killing virus was a predicted mutation.
My belief was that this is a Kissinger fast war from Fort Detrick, Maryland cause

We are at over 154,000 deaths reported so far. I care about the family members everywhere who are losing grandparents, parents, and even youngers.

Here is Brooklyn, NY where death stalks starkly:
As of 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 16th, there are 217,230 confirmed COVID-19 cases in New York City and 60,439 confirmed cases in Brooklyn. As of 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 16th, there were 18,754 confirmed deaths citywide, with an additional 4,617 probable deaths, including 5,577 confirmed deaths, and 1,618 additional probable deaths in Brooklyn.

from: h-ttps://www.brooklyn-usa.org/brooklyn-and-covid19/

Brooklyn appears to be way too deep into this virus health trap.

5, 577 divided by 60,439 = 9%

which is twice as high death rate than i expected.

add the 1,618 probables to both and we have 7,195 divided by 62,057 = 11.6%

I wonder if anyone else knows this??

A terrible failure of education, public health, governments.

And a florida physician said that we now know how to treat this virus.

darn, I pray they do!!

Trump is whining to hang onto his 40% and will attempt to shred the mail in ballots, or not count a portion based on zip codes. Lawyers already lined up. Expect court challenges in at least six states.
Replay the florida chad of 2000?
Plus, his October surprise may be a medication or vaccination that works.

Oh, let there be a god … please? Would it be too much to ask for a direct hit?

This should be nationally shared. Why does the truth seem so insane?

Why is it that no one seems (I am looking at you Dems) to be able to point out consistently that his testing boast is a flat out lie?

You truly understand him.

You must believe.

Trump believes in a fantasy version of life that he has nurtured all his life. imho trump is stuck in his Roy Cohn, bullying, never let anyone contradict you, fantasy world. I’m sure he thinks this is somehow normal and therefore presses on. He can’t change because he is always right and it would be wrong to not be right. This counting cases foolish remarks are something he will ever admit he was wrong on. He may equivocate in some way, but will never say he was wrong.
It’s actually scary to see someone running the country that can’t get this right.
Of course if you count more cases there will be more cases accounted for. That’s the point trump, we want to be aware of how bad it is for the populations sake. You don’t want to the real numbers because it bruises your self image. But that’s the reality.

As of August 02, 2020, 06:45 GMT - Australia has a testing rate per million at about 95% of that in the U.S. and a case rate per million of around 5% that of the U.S.

Trump kinda epitomizes 'Murika, don’t he?

SO… if we ain’t tested, it’s OUR fault for having strokes, heart attacks, pneumonia, kidney failure, NO/ONOO auto-immune pro-imflammatory cytokine organ failure on HIS watch and embarassing him with our silly-ass deaths o’ disparity! We should go mainline Lysol, drink Clorox & snort chloroquine!

Sort’ve like yunz deplorables managing to fuck up Purdue Pharma & embarass Schumer into firing us as Democrats; over our unmitigated hillbilly audacity to make the Sackler family’s gift of cheap opioids the religion of the proletariat?

It gives me particular pleasure that he just gets more stupid with everything he says. Not a brain cell firing, and so arrogant in his stupidity.

Happened, back in 2016!?! Believing, self preservation will make enough people vote AGAINST Trump (to overwhelm electoral college, swing state, Steven Colbert wish-think jinxing). If hatred of smug yuppie liberals blinds enough of Trump’s victims to both parties switching from shoveling we the lemmings… to pitchforks, to front-end loaders?

Doesn’t really matter. He will help himself to more government disaster relief money to more than triple his equity in Mar A Lago. We still lose; he still wins.

Thanks for the laugh! We need all the humorous relief we can get these days.

It would be funny if it didn’t hit so close to reality.

The Onion is too funny:
“We have intercepted electronic communication indicating that al-Qaeda members are actively plotting to stay out of the way while America as we know it gradually crumbles under the weight of its own self-inflicted debt and disrepair,” FBI Deputy Director Mark F. Giuliano told the assembled press corps. “If this plan succeeds, it will leave behind a nation with a completely dysfunctional economy, collapsing infrastructure, and a catastrophic health crisis afflicting millions across the nation. We want to emphasize that this danger is very real.”

You do realize that my personification of Karma is a metaphor that everyone understands, right? No need to be pedantic, instead enjoy a little literary license for what it is.

No , i do not understand that you know what karma is , hence the question. Considering the massive misuse of this term i really did not know what your understanding was/is .
You might be surprised at how many people characterize Karma in the negative only and as some kind of cosmic entity that is handing out payback.
This is especially true in spiritual groups . pointing out The constant misuse of a word is hardly pedantic . to do so ,eventually destroys the accepted form of any word and alters the general consensus of what a word really means . Probably my post was a bit reactionary due to the fact that someone in the white house practices alternative meanings on a daily basis . i did delete my post before i read yours as i thought why bother. so i was surprised when you replied .
Anyway apologies for my assumption.
