Critics to Mike Pence, US Marine Corps, and the CIA: Sorry, Martin Luther King Jr. Does Not Belong to You

Julia Conley, staff writer

The family of Martin Luther King Jr. was among those who pushed back Monday amid the annual sanitization of the civil rights leader's message, as the nation marked what would have been King's 90th birthday—with Vice President Mike Pence drawing particular rebuke for attempting to co-opt his legacy.

Pence will never deserve the right to invoke the name of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Ever.

In 1999 the only trial ever conducted on the assassination of Martin Luther King found the us government guilty of the assassination/wrongful death of Dr. King.
The overwhelming evidence of the us governments complicity included the following facts:

US 111th Military Intelligence Group were at Dr. King’s location during the assassination.
20th Special Forces Group had an 8-man sniper team at the assassination location on that day.
Usual Memphis Police special body guards were advised they “weren’t needed” on the day of the assassination.
Regular and constant police protection for Dr. King was removed from protecting Dr. King an hour before the assassination.
Military Intelligence set-up photographers on the roof of a fire station with clear view to Dr. King’s balcony.
Dr. King’s room was changed from a secure 1st-floor room to an exposed balcony room.
Memphis police ordered the destruction of several bushes at the scene which multiple witnesses reported as the source of shooting. These bushes could have easily concealed a sniper.
Along with sanitizing the crime scene, police abandoned investigative procedure to interview witnesses who lived by the scene of the shooting.
The rifle Mr. Ray delivered was not matched to the bullet that killed Dr. King, and was not sighted to accurately shoot.

And like Hoover who had MLK spied on and the John Birch Society demonized MLK as an American traitor who “collaborated with the communist party” the CIA would assassinate him again!

No doubt about it in my mind! When the fascist, U.S. government sees any real potential threat to it’s political power that it cannot control, it’s M.O. is always to resort to assassinations and uses patsy’s like Ray, Oswald and Sirhan.

PB. Ever since W-Bush came on the national scene the republican party clan doesn’t even pretend anymore. They just spread their, albeit low-keyed, bigotry around like they were broadcasting chicken feed.
Money is the only thing that they are willing to respect.

Yes, MLK was assassinated by the “government” with all it’s alphabets. A new call by the Kennedy and King family members and advisors have called for Congress to reopen the investigation into the deaths of MLK, JFK, and RFK Lots of information at the link about this today.

there have been investigations enough for all, JFK, MLK, Malcom X, RFK, Iran Contra, 911, Bill Clinton, Donald Trump. In all cases the investigation itself was conducted so as to hide the facts from the public while protecting the guilty. We may not know the details, but we know this, and that is all we should ever need to know.

Yes, and maybe Bernie not getting the nomination for POTUS in 2016 may have saved his life.

MLK Jr would be rolling in his grave if he knew just how co-opted his image would be used by the very establishment he spent his life fighting against.

That piece of shit was also directly responsible for flooding the ghettos with cheap cocaine, and we all know the fallout of that decision.
From heading the infamous Palmer raids to regularly consorting with organized crime members,
his list of crimes and ethical breaches is a very long one.
So long in fact that they had to make up a story about him being gay (there is zero evidence of that) in order to divert attention from it all.
