Current Trade Treaties: 'A Revolution Against Law'

A respected human-rights expert at the United Nations, Alfred-Maurice de Zayas, has joined the global movement opposing trade treaties like TPP and TTIP. And he has novel and powerful legal arguments.


The UN as savior? Oh yeah, like when the US opts out of the pesky International Criminal Court. I feel so much better knowing that the UN has my back. /s


True, they do not have much power where they need it, but at least they are fighting the good fight, much of the time.

And if international tribunals and commissions start following his example, it could build into a compelling scenario. I know, not a lot to go on, but I'm grateful for this.
