Democracy Dies in Blah Blah Blah

Originally published at http://www.commondreams.org/views/2020/04/03/democracy-dies-blah-blah-blah

The US legislative and voting systems have been rigged from the beginning with the electoral college, and 16% of US voters voting for more than 50% of the US Senate seats. Adding in 1) never ending gerrymandering, 2) making it difficult for anybody not right leaning to vote, and 3) widespread fraudulent vote counting, and US is the world’s largest banana republic.

Perhaps it was worse until US Senators started being elected rather than appointed a century ago, but computer aided gerrymandering during the past half century has offset whatever gains were made by electing Senators.

For a Democracy to die, it must first actually be a democracy, That is not the case with the discombobulated usa.

Every time he gets on the tube, it’s a monotone Blah, blah, blah, which is comparable to a 10 year old reading a script, many of which words he does not comprehend.

For humanity, that would be nice.

The likes of little scumbag Bezos and his Merry Band of Billionaires are pushing the keys for these newspaper pimps; who are sympathetic to the views of the new plantation owners running Washington, D. C. They are effete and dandy wags; cracker-like elitists, yardmen and worse.
Pencil-whipping the riff-raff, who actually disgust them, is as old as this country. And, a political sickness just as deadly to the 99% as Covid-19.
Too bad tar and feathering is so passe.

I do believe you are right in your assessment, only thing missing was the deceit and evil intentions that he includes in all things.

"…Blah Blah Blah…"

The Author certainly got this right, that’s all we’ve heard for going on four years, "Blah Blah Blah."

The corporate owned and run DUOPOLY “came about” to support the Elite Agenda no matter which party wins. D’s & R’s are given roles to handle their own constituencies … and prevent any independent thought from growing in the states.

The DEM Party is just as much “an opponent of one person, one vote democracy” though, unlike Republicans, they do it largely internally to keep the People’s true voice silenced.

That’s absolutely true—and, as with so much that’s true, some in this forum will treat it as heresy.

I appreciate knowing that others can see this, though I doubt there are enough of us at this time to do anything about it.
