Surprise surprise, it’s a money game and almost all play into it sooner or later. I suspect that a dem. socialist, republican, Green, Independent etc. are all in the same frame.
I also suspect that some who don’t seem bought off already had money and don’t have to sell out constantly.

Beyond campaign contributions too many members of congress own stock in companies like Lockheed, Raytheon, etc. Then they go on to sit on boards of directors or lobbying firms for these companies. Especially if they sit on defense related committees. You then see them on all the major news shows and newspapers telling us why this war or that military action or arms sale is in the best interests of "the American People " without any of the financial ties made known to “the American People”.

Diane Feinstein is the biggest war profiteer in Congress. She never met a war she didn’t like. She and her husband have made a literal killing.

If the ridiculous and wasteful annual " spend it or lose it " budgeting process was ended, our DoD budget would be around $420 Billion, yearly. Were it was when we were deeply engaged in two wars in Asia & the ME. Plus, numerous clandestine ops in Africa and…who knows what (drug eradication, indigenous eradication) in our own Southern Hemisphere, for gosh sakes.
It would be much cheaper for taxpayers to just nationaize the MIC and the Big 5, in particular, to get this " budget bloat " back into real civilian control and end this fraud.
Or, just possibly, reduce some of the layers of lying and obfuscation, in the ongoing procurement of obsolete and worthless old war weaponry relics from the 20th Century.

Yes, and the MSM continues to focus daily on the Trumpster. Everything Trump, 24/7 Trump, 365 Trumpster/… Blah, Blah, Trump, Blah, Blah…Trump. He and his looney crew are using all this free public relations media to create more political and health havoc …meanwhile, 150-200K Americans will die needlessly this winter because the rich patients bought the hospital administration a cruise ship and sent them on a real bon voyage until further notice. That really sucks.

I think it was Hilary Clinton who suggested that while she got money from Drug Companies and the like for her campaign that those donations in no shape or form influenced how she would make a Political decision.
There are people that believe this crap.

That is why Clinton voted to invade Iraq and never had any misgivings about the decision even after all the facts (that the rest of us knew when Clinton cast her vote) were cast in concrete by the mainstream media a decade later.

News today, she’s been made a chancellor at a Northern Ireland college. Seems there are huge demonstrations against this at the induction ceremony.
She seems to think that because she a woman and ran for President in the USA , she has the respect and admiration of people the world over. It my feeling her only real fans are in the USA. Outside of that Country she is loathed.
