Global financial institutions continue to pour billions of dollars into the coal industry despite calls from scientists and global movements to leave this dirty fossil fuel in the earth in order to stave off climate catastrophe.

…and what about the fact that we have lost one major carbon sink… I am not hearing much about that… the Amazon is not a carbon sink no more…it emits for carbon than it takes in and it does not take up enough to mitigate the newly industrial countries of South America…
So, let’s get this straight… We work to develop “renewables”… but with each passing year… the earth emits more and more of her own Co2 and methane… I think we are in a loosing battle already…
Loosing the Amazon, is a big “Fing” deal…and again… some of the biggest news of the century… yet… .not a peep from the MSN, let alone any one else …except a few of these progressive websites…
