Disregarding Public Concern, the National Park Service Finalizes Commercialism Policy and Opens Parks to Industry Influence

WASHINGTON - Note: After months of reviewing public comments, the National Park Service (NPS) announced on Dec. 28 that Director Jonathan Jarvis has signed and therefore finalized Director’s Order #21, a policy that allows parks to actively seek donations from corporate vendors, allows the parks service to partner with alcohol companies, drops the current policy that parks must be free of commercialism and lifts restrictions on naming rights in parks.

All this was done under a Democratic President. Some may argue that Obama was neither a Democrat nor a President, and there's some true in that, Did he appoint NPS Director Jonathan Jarvis? If Teddy Roosevelt were alive today he wouldn't let this happen......AND the banks would be broken up......AND the financiers/crooks would be in the slammer doing hard time. Soon Teddy's bust on Mt. Rushmore will be "Brought to You by Goldman Sachs," and their logo will be carved across his nose. That will be the enduring Obama legacy.

I agree, and millenials will love this.

Yes, he was an Obama appointee. This is one reason I get ill every time I see a FB friend post a petition "thanking Obama for all his progressive action".
