As long as no one conflates a (temporary?) win for the better-off, middle class workers, with the economic crises facing the masses, the American people, we can keep the discussion rooted in reality.
The Republicans have, so far, been successful in blocking Obama from choosing Scalia's replacement. The fact that Democrats are likely to lose 2016 (since they have only more deeply alienated much of the Dem voting base) means that the Republicans will pick the next SC judge. That's what will ultimately matter.
