The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) used industry-funded research to conclude that the herbicide chemical glyphosate is not likely to cause cancer in humans—contradicting findings by the World Health Organization (WHO)—according to an analysis the EPA posted to, then swiftly removed from, its website on Friday.
But don't farmers drink the stuff in India. Oh, wait...
Mr. Hopey Changey has made such a difference with Tom (Monsanto man) Vilsack by his side.
Glyphosate is now ubiquitous in the American diet. It is almost impossible to avoid exposure to the compound, even when successfully avoiding GMO ingredients.
Glyphosate is extensively applied as a pre-harvest drying agent for a number of conventionally cultivated crops. At plant moisture levels above 30%, glyphosate readily translocates, leaving trace amounts, through all plant tissues including the seed/grain to be harvested. Farmers first engaged in this practice on a limited basis in the late 1970's. By around the early 1990's the technique eventually became more or less standard practice affecting, it is estimated, up to about 90% of the US wheat harvest. Though being able to establish absolute linkage of glyphoste to cancer may remain in dispute due to the extreme lag times between exposure and manifest illness, other illnesses of more immediate impact are coming under scrutiny.
The following presents a reasonable overview:
Wow, imagine that, the EPA using industry (read Monsatan) and hired thug data to make policy decisions - can't be anything wrong with that.......The fact is glyphosate shows up in human breast milk and causes genetic damage/variations, as well as liver & kidney damage......Monsatan and corrupted "regulatory" agencies (or bought "scientists") don't give a crap about anything but corporate profits!
This isn't science
It's another RICO crime
Organized Crime Government Sanctioned
The leak on the TTIP documents reveals that the Obama administration has insisted that EU either accept GMOs and US food exports where Glysophates used, ot the US would restict the Import of European Automobiles.
This reveals the absolute control the Corporations have over Government. That they provide the science that deems glysophates safe is not surprising in the least.
WHO found that glyphosate is a probable human carcinogen (group 2). Not as bad as bacon tho. They classified bacon as a group 1 carcinogen. Good thing we're not spraying fields with bacon....
The corn those pigs eat IS contaminated with glyphosates. That makes bacon even more of a danger to health. In fact...the feed for most all of the animals we consume as food are equally as contaminated with glyphosates.
Does anyone know if there is any link between the increased number of carcinogenics in our food and water with the increases in diseases like dementia/Alzheimer's, respiratory diseases, mental illnesses, and heart diseases?
