If “you” were a Palestinian watching your home being destroyed like this, what would “you” do?

The Zionists of Israel must be taught a lesson in humanity.

They have lost any semblance of it by taking actions like this.

Since extermination (along the lines of the American Indians) is frowned upon these days, Zionists have decided that they will make life so difficult for the Palestinians to survive on lands that they covet, that the Palestinians will simply leave.

In the meantime, they will continue to build illegal settlements in the hope of changing “facts on the ground” so that any future withdrawal will be rendered effectively impossible.

They will mouth words to the effect of we want “peace talks,” but these so-called talks will constitute little more than dictation, with its inevitable rejection becoming an excuse for more war/land grabs.

It is a testament to power of perseverance that the Palestinians have refused to allow themselves to be ethnically-cleansed all these years despite the hardships they have endured.

The well-intentioned can try to stop this activity with concrete disincentives like BDS, as well as filing of actions with the International Court of Justice, or continue to play coy until it’s too late.

Meanwhile, as the clock continues to tick, Zionists blindly race towards a one-state solution, blissfully ignorant of the fact that their actions are rendering their desire for a “Jewish State” little more than an illusion.

This will continue, and likely worsen, until some future US administration—which believes the words of its founding documents, and and acts accordingly—turns off the money spigot.

there are only 3 comments. Gee, I wonder why ? Don’t want to be banned from commenting by the censors on Common Dreams ? Anyone who dares to criticize a certain state will be labeled. Free press, what a joke.

First of all, get rid of the dumb FB and Twitter icons. I keep hitting them by mistake.
Easier to understand why people like Cassius Clay and Lou Alcindor left the faith of the almighty Christian demons of power and money.

trumps brand of fascism and foreign policy (as well as his inner circle) are in many ways influenced by the Israeli model of racism, ethnic cleansing and supremacist nationalist mindset…

Border “apartheid” walls (Israel’s ruled illegal by the ICJ), premeditated destruction of family life, overt racism, profiteering cronyism, theft and exploitation of public lands and resources that should be protected as The Commons", ghettoization of minority populations via economic oppression & wage slavery, and racist police forces trained to brutally enforce the status quo - “legalized” murder!

BDS! Smash Apartheid! Zionism IS Racism!

The common attitude in this country is that Israel should be allowed to commit crimes against humanity because they are the good guys. Is there any idea more irrational?

No wonder the Democrats won’t stand up to Trump’s fascism and racism; under the false flag of not wanting to appear anti-Semitic, they have been aiding and abetting the overt fascism and racism of the government of Israel for many years.

That is uncalled for! Jews and the Govt. of Israel are NOT synonymous! Think! This is exactly the type of conflation that the Zionists use against supporters of BDS.

Extermination is not frowned upon by the Israeli state nor by its apologists here; witness the periodic “mowing the lawn” in Gaza, and the murder of unarmed Gazans peacefully taking part in the “Great March of Return”.

Wha, wha, wha, whaaaat?

Israel’s Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan, in a statement Monday, said the country’s top court “ruled that the illegal construction constitutes a severe security threat” and that “those who built houses in the area of the security fence knew that building in that area was prohibited, and took the law into their own hands.”

Let’s rewrite that and swap out the names, shall we?

The U.N. rapporteur, in a statement Monday, said the U.N. ruled that the illegal construction constitutes a severe security threat and that the Israeilis who built settlements in the area knew that building in that area was prohibited, and took the law into their own hands.

And that last one would be vetoed in the Security Council by the other corrupt, fascist, dealers-in-death - the United States.

Pot. Meet kettle.

This will not stop, even if the US had the intestinal fortitude to turn off the money river. The israeli’s have evicted and moved into Palestinian homes or destroyed them, and stolen land from them since they got there. I see only one solution to save the Palestinian people from extinction, expel the israelis from the country. Then give the Palestinian’s their homes as compensation.

You are correct. Can you direct me to any links to prominent Jewish organizations speaking out against it?

Both “Jewish Voices for Peace” and “J Street” are good starting points. There is also much vocal opposition, from Jews within Israel, of the Netanyahu govt. and policies.

Thank you! I shall do better in the future.

Another good source is Haaretz. It is an Israeli newspaper (with an English website for news). Gideon Levy and Amira Hass in particular are VERY vocal against the occupation. Both live there and see it with their own eyes.
