Despite some by-now familiar imagery—Bernie Sanders is a “self-described democratic socialist” who has been “traveling the country venting his outrage”—the Washington Post’s post-Iowa rundown (2/2/16) is in some ways an uncomplicated report on a Sanders showing that was “surprising” to a press corps intent on dismissing him into invisibility.
Jeff Bezos has finished ruining a great American newspaper. It bears zero resemblance to the publication that brought down the corrupt and criminal Nixon administration.
Sanders certainly has experience. At least 25 years in Congress and even a stint as a small city mayor. What seems to set Sanders apart is that he actually calls socialist programs socialism. Most Democrats would not use that term to describe Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, social security, free college tuition, etc, but Sanders does.
Tightening the Beltway... WaPo style...

I expect more from Karen Tumulty, or, I used to, anyway.
Considering that all the major media is owned by the in crowd and the monied class we can expect more and more anti-Bernie rhetoric. It may be subtle at first but just wait. Bet it really gets to them that he can raise $3,000,000 in one day from contributions of less than $30 average. That is lot of committed voters.
