Flint Residents Now Have to Pay for Water They Still Can't Drink

Nika Knight, staff writer

The state of Michigan has declared that Flint's drinking water "meets all federal water quality standards," ending a program Wednesday that reimbursed residents for most of their water costs in the wake of the lead crisis.

Yet Flint residents still can't drink the water, and the announcement was met with outrage.

Rick Snyder should be shot.

It's just a business thing to the "nerd" governor. You can't be giving away a necessity that the city spends tax revenue on, to provide to those who have been harmed by city and State negligence, even though many citizens have been physically and financially harmed by that negligence, and they've never been compensated. That's obviously the fault of Flint residents you know.

Dump Snyder and the Mich repubs. They need to be drummed out of office and then made to drink Flint water for 5 years.

I hope they save some for the Trump Administration and people like them.:smiley_cat::+1:
