Hello Jessica Corbett and Everyone, The Pope’s words fall on deaf ears in the Rethug virus Fascist country of 'Merikkka! Their end goal is to decrease the surplus population to a million or so from the current seven billion plus on the planet. If we survive to 2050 world hunger will be the worst ever! There is “NOTHING” that they won’t do to attain that goal!!!

It’s good that the Pope is preaching about hunger, but I wish he would DO the one thing in his power that would do the most to end hunger and poverty, and that would be to remove the church’s ban on birth control. The empowerment of women is the surest way to end poverty, and that can’t happen if women do not have control of their fertility.
