For Renewables, Wind and Solar Could Soon Blow Big Dams Out of the Water

Dam builders like to claim that hydropower is the world’s largest source of renewable electricity. After a century-long head start over wind and solar power, large hydropower indeed accounted for 52% of the world’s renewable energy capacity in 2014. But new figures from the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) show that the picture is quickly changing.

You have obviously ignored the battery development news for the last several months.

Relying upon history for the sole guide of our thinking is what got us into the climage change disaster that scientists are now saying will leave us extinct in 100 years.

With the same justification, financiers could have argued for a
continued focus on landline connections rather than mobile phones
fifteen years ago.

Yea, let's all get rid of land lines and go totally mobile. Good idea!
