Completely and utterly irresponsible. Trump, Inc. needs to go as it continues to prioritize wealth accumulation at the expense of Life, as it continues to prioritize re-election chances at our expense. Labor needs continue to walk out. Not until an actual vaccine available for everyone should any one be placed in such a position. These workers deserve better and workers that do not have to physically go to work can help by refusing to return to work until a vaccine is available for all.

The final dispossession of the US people is at hand. This is why the corporate elite like the trump so much: He is eager to go all the way… to crush the people and leave them with nothing. The world is witnessing the liquidation and utter destruction of the USA.

That’s the CDC, not Trump, telling EVERYONE to code “assumed” deaths as COVID-19; that order was issued by the CDC on March 24. Do your homework.

Ruth, the CDC, along with the rest of Trump’s sycophants are all under his watch so it all falls back to him. You might want to read the NY Times article that describes the infighting that has brought us to where we are. So, yeah, I do find time for homework.

# He Could Have Seen What Was Coming: Behind Trump’s Failure on the Virus

An examination reveals the president was warned about the potential for a pandemic but that internal divisions, lack of planning and his faith in his own instincts led to a halting response

And we have an OSHA which is supposed to protect workers and a “Labor” Department which also supposed to protect the interests of workers headed by a corporate lawyer–you know his interests are NOT with for workers. *And it all falls on Trump. It is occurring under HIS watch.

You might think this would create more fear And walkouts among workers. Profits before people once again. What a cruel business culture he is creating.

Clinical coding ( without lab test confirmation) of ill patients with dx of COVID-19 is accepted and approved mainly for the reason that a dx is part of the medical record, and there are not enough test kits to do lab testing on a mass scale. Test kits use has/had been prioritized to the most ill and for health care workers. Dx is important for quarantine purposes to isolate to control the spread. Hopefully this situation will improve and testing will be plentiful and available for all as needed.

From the steel mill, factory floor, refinery perspective.
Both complainers: David Michaels and Jordan Barar
provided more damage to worker safety than this
reporting decision.
A crane operator falls 40 feet and dies due to a larger
gap at entry platform = $2,500.00 fine.

There is not a way with factories shut down for a plant
manager or HR to even know an employee was positive
for C-19 or contacted the virus at work.

Let’s use county health departments as the central communication
and reporting centers, not a supposed safety organization.

There are more health dept than osha. AND they have professional level people!!

The thing is, what he is creating is NOT “business” it is predatory colonization of ALL ASPECTS of all resources. Why? Because the system is so inefficient, incompetent, short sighted and wasteful that it has established a feedback loop in its " reasoning". What passes for reason is actually feudal fiat at all levels and aspects of society in order to " privatize" fiefdoms where causal reality is subsumed by coercion, force and violence.
The “middle class” is now being revealed for what its originally intended purposes were: a storage and buffer zone for the predators. First they came for the pensions…

Has CD covered the Biden sexual harassment story? If so, where? If not? Why not?

Then US Senator from California Hiram Johnson’s “the first casualty of war is the truth” continues to be applicable more than a century after he made his observation public.

There is even more widespread under reporting of COVID-19 cases and deaths than this article suggests. My 82 year old aunt’s death last week in New Orleans was recorded as immune deficiency disease even though it was apparent that COVID-19 is what did her in.

This week I corresponded with co-workers and we connected dots for undiagnosed serious illness and death among friends, relatives and co-workers during the September through December 2019 time frame, identifying three cases that fit the COVID-19 profile. If my small group knows three, multiply that across the US and you end up with tens of thousands of COVID-19 cases that will likely never be reported.

What does this question have to do with the OSHA story?

Unreported COVID-19 deaths and cases are estimated to rival reported numbers, in some regions all over the world. At least we can relay reported numbers, which are burgeoning despite intense suppression.

I thought I would no longer be shocked by any of Trump’s actions, but this threw me for a loop. The depth of evil, of the primacy of increasing corporate wealth over people’s lives is so on display. Fox is not reporting this, of course. Unless all Americans become educated, we are destined to go down.

Trump is a threat to public health. He’s the virus’s only friend. He IS a virus! He turns people into zombies. It’s no wonder they crave brains.
