If Biden lets the proposed Formosa plant to proceed, then you might as well have kept Trump in office, seeing everything Biden has done so far seems on par with what Trump has done.
The gist of the many books I’ve read lately on our unnatural love of technology and machines is-if people had been told the truth about these discoveries, the many bad effects from them, they wouldn’t have gone beyond the invention stage. The Amish took one look at the telephone and refused it, knowing it would loosen the ties of family and community. The car would make life too fast and create noise and pollution. Television, anything to do with nuclear science, all the forever chemicals…If we’d been given time, truth, and the ability to stop implementation of them, I think we would have said “no”.
As it is, we’re going over the cliff. A few Indigenous peoples may survive, but can the deal with a horribly polluted planet?
