"Remember," says the Sierra Club, "if you see anything from 'Your Energy,' it's just a PR campaign funded by the oil and gas industry."
Funny for the Sierra club to talk about energy PR campaigns. That entire organization is nothing but a PR campaign.
I’m not sure the fossil fuel industry needs to run a PR campaign for hydraulic fracturing, when there are actually safer types of fracturing like PPT (Plasma Pulse Technology). PPT is also a lot cheaper than hydraulic fracturing due to its significant reduction in water and gas used during extraction and lower waste generation. Granted PPT is a relatively new technology, but for a large corporation I’m surprised they decided a marketing campaign on a controversial subject would be more ideal than developing a new technology.
