Gates Foundation's Rose-Colored World View Not Supported by Evidence

Martin Kirk, Jason Hickel

The annual public letter from Bill and Melinda Gates has become a much-celebrated event in the global development calendar. But lost in the excitement around this year’s letter is the fact that it uses 6,000 words to paint a picture that is so selective in its use of facts that it amounts to little more than propaganda for a failing aid and development industry, and indeed a failing ideology.

Thank you for this excellent article that presents important factual information to show what this so-called philanthropy is really all about. Kudos!

Gate is also a HUUUGE promoter of charter schools,..I do believe...in other words, destruction of public education...
One wonders why..
(Not to mention most of his products were stolen from the minds of others....)

Look up some interviews with Gates on the subject of charter schools. The thing that stands out most for me is that he considers students to be future consumers. Consumers of school products! He want to privatize so businesses selling testing and whatnot can make more $$.
