GOP Lawmaker Really Doesn't Want Rep. Rashida Tlaib to Let Lawmakers Know What Life Is Like in Occupied West Bank

Andrea Germanos, staff writer

Newly-elected Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) wants to offer members of Congress an alternative to the "sugar-coated" junket to Israel the American Israel Public Affairs Committee-affiliated group offers members of Congress by leading a delegation to the West Bank. For a Republican lawmaker, however, giving lawmakers a view of life in the occupied territory is an "exceedingly dangerous" plan that must be stopped.

When asked to comment for the cameras, Congressman Babin covered his ears with his hands and muttered:

“La, la, la, I can’t hear you, la, la, la…”

What a splendid idea. I hope she achieves her goal.

No way the Congressional establishment will allow or support this trip.

To sponsor a visit to Palestine, either Gaza or West Bank would provide the other side of the issue and give balance to the issue.

But maybe Palestine cannot afford to buy weapons of mass destruction compared to the income for said purchases by Israel. Money Money Money Money

Maybe Sheldon Adelson will lend Con. Tlaib one of his private jets? In the spirit of bipartisanship, of course. ( Not the one with the faulty instrument panel, though. )

What gets me is Jews are always crying anti-semitism when they are criticized in the least bit, but when they are the suppressors, that seems to be okay. Did they not learn a valuable lesson about bigotry and hate? What kind of topsy-turvy world do we live in?

Frankly, it is time to show how this “special relationship” between the US and Israel involves the horrific treatment of their respective indigenous peoples. Both nations need a heavy dose of truth exposure. Without it, neither nation nor the rest of us can hope to avoid the catastrophic end game.

How could Representative Rasheed Tlaib’s comments be “overly caustic” when it comes to the nitwit “GOP Lawmaker?”

And / or the 757 that just took FLOTUS Melania to Mar-a-Largo. I’m sure it is merely sitting on some tarmac at the moment preventing the local flight schools and tour operators from conducting business, yet again.

Pelosi and the Republicans will never allow this. Schumer must be steaming mad at Rashida, “must stop BDS movement now.”

Germanos sez:
“Babin’s letters note that Tlaib is a supporter of the boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) movement and accuses her of having ‘personal vitriol’ towards the president.”

And your point, sir, is …?

Reality can be smiles, and laughter, and bubbles. But it can also have a vicious, horrid bite.
Perhaps Bibi and the Apocalypse-spouting Americans have finally met their match in Rep. Rashida Tlaib.
Is she dangerous! Absolutely! Just as truth and justice are dangerous.

Being part of such a delegation wouldn’t enlighten congressmembers

But declining to do so would make clear their intent to prevent their constituents from becoming so.

What the article didn’t say about the Disneyland junket trip to Israel. After Congressional members left the country, their votes in most cases, belonged to Israel forever.

Babin fits the right wing evangelist profile that sees Israel as Christian and declares Christ will return there during the ‘end times.’

For example, like the North Carolina congressional candidate, Mark Harris, who "claimed that Islam was ‘dangerous’ and the work of Satan, and that “Jews and Muslims will never achieve peace until they all convert to Christianity.”

Babin was one of many right wingers to make campaign donations to him:
